I thought all fans knew about it, I probably shouldn't bring it up again because it makes her look bad and I don't think she really knew what she was talking about or that it made her seem racist to a lot of people..
but her comment was that "for a black person alicia keys is really pretty". And then there was a video of someone that was black that covered a song of SNSD's and taeyeon was watching it and looked all weird and uncomfortable so people just assumed she was racist. I think she was just having a bad day though.

It's probably just a misunderstand....I hate it when people just automatically think the worst in people

I just really love her voice, it's powerful but even when she sings softer it sounds so beautiful. "If" is one of my favorite Korean songs. She would make a great solo artist in my opinion.

edit// OMG my SNSD cd's came today :D I just started collecting so I've ordered the older ones. The "baby baby" booklet and design is so pretty. I got Genie and Gee too (with the 40 page booklet :D) and all the pics are so gorgeous. Still expecting that huge photo book, Girls Generation, and RDR in the mail now.

ah interesting video... she can sing, I'll give her that. But yeah it's the racist comments that kinda made me doubt her personality & leadership... I heard she/SM has this habit of excusing her as being "sick" whenever she makes a mistake :shrug

WELL. I'm a mere casual listener of SNSD; I find maybe like 3 of them really pretty and really like them but I don't think I'll be a full-fledged fan. And for me, so far their best songs are Run Devil Run & Genie (omg i love this so much) ^^

I think you just need to watch more interviews/shows with them and you'll start becoming a bigger fan - that's only if you want to though. If you don't feel like you have enough energy to become an obsessed fan of another group then stay away from their interviews and shows they're on LOL. Most of them are soo likable.

I saw this one video of them in a show and I thought they were pretty funny lol... but I'm not a big fan of most of them and their songs, so~
