While I love TRICK and adore UNIVERSE, this album blows those two (plus Black Cherry) out of the water.

I don't know if I like it as much as Kingdom, but I haven't loved as many songs on an album since K!

edit: The dejavu booklet is so cute! I can't wait to get mine.

I love it live too.. but it's bc the volume of the chorus is lower and she sings over it, it really makes a difference. if only the real song was that way.

on the subject of TRICK and UNIVERSE, I only saved a couple songs from each album (TABOO, Driving, This is not a love song, No way, You're so beautiful) and deleted the rest of that crap. they're unfortunately some of the worst J-pop albums I've listened to. I was extremely disappointed in Kuu with those albums and hope she never lowers herself to that quality again. she's so much better than that, and Eternity + Dejavu is proof.

TRICK has some amazing tracks (JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, show girl, Driving, Moon Crying, Ai no Kotoba) while Universe had a few too (You're so beautiful, No way, Stay, Comes Up, Physical thing)

tbh, I think they are both stronger albums than Black Cherry. I don't get the love for that album... it was basically made of singles and a few lackluster album tracks. I grew so bored of it too fast.

edit:: Who else is in love with Passing by? :heart I can't stop listening.

Black Cherry wasn't perfect, but damn it had so many amazing songs and that release was so exciting omg. I have so many good memories with that album :heart
Passing by has been stuck in my head all day.. her voice is heavenly in it. seriously.. her vocals in the ballads on this album are like, the most beautiful vocals from her ever imo.

I think Passing by is my favorite, followed by Suki de and Okay.

i feel like this is like a ballad album.. so many slow songs instead of upbeats/rnb/fast tracks.. but i love it. it's perfect for me =))
most of her ballads on the album are nice!

Just finished listening to the album, and I must say, I LOVE IT, the intro really gets me excited for the rest of the album. Kuu's done it again, she's created another amazing album :heart :heart :heart

I still have a lot of great memories towards Black Cherry too as that was the 1st Kumi album I bought & let alone listen to

For every single/album Kumi release , there will be bound to be people who like or dislike :shrug

in my case , I prefer Dejavu a lot more than UNIVERSE , album tracks wise & UNIVERSE's the only album that I deleted almost 1/2 the album tracks from my mp3player :x

I hated POP DIVA at first and i was like , oh this is her most disappointing song she ever did , I listened to it for once but after her amazing lives the song grow so much on me and i was like yeah this is my Kuu ,especially when i heard the 320Kbps I was officially in love with it :heart . Now i consider POP DIVA one of my favorite songs


I really can't stop listening to the album , it looks like that i won't get bored with album :luv2
