The stage already looks awesome.
|
I'm so tempted to buy Style off of CDJapan.
The special price just shouldn't be passed up. And Style is an amazing album as well. To this day, I'm still baffled as to why it 'failed'. Just look at (some of) the track list: shine more, so crazy, put em up, come, lovebite, Indy lady. |

Wow, the stage is so huge. >.> Looks like an awesome location too.
Haha, the weather in Japan is the same as here... |

I never get tired of that album though. Plus the b-sides from that era are just as amazing. |
I tried to listen to Style but I didn't like it.
I'm going to try again! |
For some reason I thought the 20th Anniversary concert was indoors...I guess this is better than nothing. Outdoors concerts tend to be a bit boring imo. Lighting isn't as controlled, sound is usually worse and there is less possible in terms of stage design.
Of course, you CAN make great use of outdoors venues, too, it's just rare. |

the live's gonna be EPIC. I feel :D

STYLE had some of her best r&b work like Alarm and So Crazy
|
meh. It was raining at kuu's Dream Music Park, and it was still amazing...
And her set was awesome. But then she was in a stadium I guess. |
Watch any artist's concert done outdoors. Majority get caught in the rain. I wonder if it's really a mishap or done on purpose for dramatic effect.
Can't wait for the live! |
^ Lol, it would be funny if it were on purpose. Namie would look pretty sexy dancing in the rain. *thinks of "SO CRAZY" video*
|
I think this situation is a bit different than other artists concerts. Rock bands and whatnot can perform somewhat in Typhoon's, but Namie's show is centered completely around her dancing in stiletto heals. That's dangerous. I can see this show getting rescheduled; either that or they will have to change the show quite a bit I think or put her in tennis shoes the whole time. :) They are going to announce today at 3 whether the show will go on or not.
|
Raining and in the middle of a typhoon are TOTALLY two different things. You will only get wet when it's raining but you will get blown away or the stage may collapse when there's a typhoon...
|
and the typhoon is confirmed to hit Ryukyuu Island in the weekend.
It's already raining here in Taiwan |
