I need remixes of I'm Not Yours in my life. I don't follow Jolin; does her material get remixed a lot?

everlastingRAINBOW 10th April 2015 07:38 PM

YesAsia is fine. Make sure to request they ship it in a box though and not an envelope.

How do you request such things ? O_o

By the way, I always order my Asian music at YesAsia, because CDJapan is a bit too expansive with their shipping fees. But YesAsia is a bit slower though, I' usually have to wait a dozen of days to receive my package.

You can request that at checkout. There should be a comments section if you have any requests for your order. The first order I got came smashed; I learned after that.

I much prefer CDJapan because you can pay $12 for shipping and get your album the day of or the day after. Especially if you rack up point you won't pay much for shipping at all.

Heavenly 10th April 2015 09:44 PM

The thing is, with YesAsia, you are pretty sure that you won't have to pay any custom fees. Although, with CDJapan, I chose EMS (or FedEx, I can't recall...) and I had to pay customs for half the price of the item (!)

(I think it was for the LOVE again album, which costed around €60-€70, shipping included, and then I had to pay ~€45 of customs)
--> French customs think that if you want something to arrive quickly by mail, you have to be a terrorist who ordered a bomb on internet or something XD

This is true, I used to buy lots of CDs, and packages from CDJapan always got stuck in customs, and in the end buying a few CDs would cost almost 200€. I could buy around 10 CDs for that price on YesAsia.
If customs weren't a problem I'd probably have used CDJapan more.

Someone told me many years ago to always ask for extra bubble wrap when buying CDs anywhere, so I haven't gotten any smashed up CDs.

She doesn't have that many official remixes when you look at it... The last time she released remixes, it was for Myself.
If you are searching for unofficial ones, I don't know lol

Jolin is supposedly coming back today from LA, in 2 weeks she has learnt 25 choreos with 12 "elite dancers" from all around the world. Some classic dance songs of hers will also be rearranged to surprise fans.

Lots of songs have been rearranged in Myself World Tour as well such as Love Love Love, Bravo lover, Agent J, Dancing Diva and so on.
Concerning bests, in Taiwan they're released by a record company when the singer leaves them for another label, and Jolin is not leaving Warner anytime soon so... XD

EDIT: My bad, actually it's the choreos that they remade, they didn't remix the songs. But if it's like Myself World Tour, some old songs will be rearranged.

Linoa62 12th April 2015 12:06 PM

Tickets sold out in 18 minutes for the Taipei dates (the first dates of the Tour) so they added another one on May 25th!

The queen, ha power!

Long story short (lol):
Jolin's guest performance at aMEI's concert yesterday

Tom Wang (Jolin's agent) teased yesterday on Weibo that a new song will be performed during the Tour.
Still about the Tour: the 11,000 tickets for May 25th have been sold in only 6 minutes...
They can't add more dates at Taipei Arena, so they are thinking of adding a concert in Kaohsiung.

Jolin won the ALMA (Asia LGBT Milestone Awards) Awards' Icon Of The Year award yesterday for having released two videos supporting the gay community in PLAY.

Any news about a possible Miss Trouble's MV ?
Though I don't really like the song, I'm still curious about how the MV would look like =)

Irish_Ayu_Fan 25th April 2015 12:05 AM

Have there been any other tour dates announced? Or just the ones at Taipei Arena does anyone know?

Her agent mentioned it on his Facebook a while ago but that's it... No other news at the moment.

By the way, a rumoured setlist has been floating around for the past few days, it's coming from Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture (in China concerts have to be approved by authorities so thay have to submit the setlist and content of the show).

^ Thanks for your infos Linoa ! ^0^

And God, Medusa as a live intro should be fierce ! If it's the same style as her Myself World Tour *O*

Linoa62 7th May 2015 12:35 PM

Tickets for the concerts in Beijing and Shanghai (both in July) are now on sale!

More info about the Tour:
- Namie Amuro was in Seoul a few days ago for the Chanel Resort Show, and when asked about PLAY World Tour, she confirmed her attendance at one of the concerts in late May in Taipei! But she didn't say if she was going to perform or not
- Concerning choreographies and costumes, it's the first time Jolin's collaborating with an international team. The designer has already worked with Beyoncé and Katy Perry (I wonder if the costumes have been designed by The Blonds...)
- The Tour will convey the album's concept, that life is a stage. According to Jolin, we experience different roles in life, and even if we don't play the one we wanted, we can still rewrite our story. Jolin also hopes to push all the negativity away and to bring optimism and positivity to the audience
- The concerts will be divided into several themes inspired by Hollywood movies such as "Broadway Troupe", "Greek Goddess", and others
- The setlist I posted a couple of weeks ago is basically confirmed since the article mentions Prague Square, Rewind, 36 tricks of love, The Third Person And I and PLAY
- Agent J and Dancing Diva are among the tracks which will get a rearranged choreography
- The directors of the Tour are Travis Payne and Stacy Walker who have already collaborated with Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson
- 12 dancers will accompany her on stage
- Aside from Travis and Stacy, 14 top dance teachers from Europe, America and South America have been invited "to create a crazy dance style".
