Random question, does anyone know if the Kloop backpacks were functional? Like with zippers and pockets? Or were they just wearable plushies? I tried using Google, but didn't turn up any info.

Zeke. 18th February 2016 03:30 AM

I would love it if ku would release something that I actually like again for once.

abestfah 18th February 2016 06:35 AM

Gustavopc 19th February 2016 12:06 PM

Just noticed she ends the tour in Okinawa on her birthday.
She just posted last year how much she loves Okinawa (making holiday there last year) and that she wanted to perform there.
Happened quickly. :)

a❤martian 22nd February 2016 08:26 PM

I totally forgot she was on another tour. I will need to look up more info on this live. God, this woman loves to perform!!

kaled kalil 23rd February 2016 01:25 PM

I know it's random but I'm still mad that Shake Hip is not her 'new' BE MY BABY. I love that song so much, and I wish she would replace BE MY BABY with Shake Hip since 2013.

Ryusei 23rd February 2016 02:23 PM

Be my baby is my life i would not accept that lol she could just do both haha i'd like it. Shake hip is def. My favorite song from color the cover

jean-baptiste 23rd February 2016 06:55 PM

Shake Hip is one of my favorite songs recorded by kuu.

a❤martian 23rd February 2016 07:47 PM

Also loving Shake Hip over here. That song is my everything. Be My Baby is amazing, too, but it's not Shake Hip :P

Zeke. 23rd February 2016 08:04 PM

I never knew how to take Shake Hip. It's ok. But it's very different from Be My Baby. Shake Hips chorus just kind of rolls in, but Be My Baby's explodes. The verses escalate, making you anticipate, and the climactic points always clear-cut. Shake Hip is cheeky, but Be My Baby is fierce, dramatic, and commanding.

Another thing I love in Be My Baby is how the slate is like wiped clean right before the bridge. It's as if a single hand motion snatches the sound, and throws it back down, causing it to kind of splash outward as a giant matter of sparkle and synthetic dust. It happens around 1:22, and it's my favorite part in the song. I think this technique is utilized throughout the song in various portions as well, but it takes center stage at this portion in the song.

KuuXAyu-fan 23rd February 2016 08:20 PM

I hope we get DVD/BD covers for the THE ARTIST soon. I've decided not to watch the TV version on Saturday and wait till the blu-ray in March.

Even when I do not agree with your opinions, I love the way you describe music! And in this case I do agree with you, BMB is much more intense and I think that for a live performance it gets the audience going much more than Shake Hip! (even tho I love both)

mi|kshake 23rd February 2016 10:17 PM

I also love Shake Hip! And it's choreography!

Same here! You should open a review thread or something!

Zeke. 24th February 2016 04:12 AM

I'm glad you guys like my descriptions. I love to talk about music visually. I have one friend who likes to chill and listen to music with me and do the same, discussing the songs as if they were paintings and we were actually watching them unfold visually in real time. Never Kumi or J-pop though. I would really like to have those kind of conversations with J-pop fans in real life though. It's easier to draw attention to the intricacies and layers within a track when you're sharing the same listening experience.

I have thought about doing some written project of the sort (a review thread, website, blog, etc.), but I'm so busy at the moment. I can't really undertake such a project.

Corvina 24th February 2016 10:03 AM

We're all waiting for new music...

...but Kuu is launching her first skin care items!

3 fragrance body creams for moisturizing, coming 03/01.
In the scents of her three perfumes Love Note, Love Touch and Nude Note.

http://imageshack.com/a/img922/1985/IgM40o.jpg

All stuff available at this official site:
http://special.scentnations.com/

Kuu also made a LINE post about it this morning:

(click for bigger)

She's telling that in the fan meetings after the concerts (there was one for every concert last year), her fans often asked her which perfume she's using.
And it's the black Love Touch.

And Winter of Love 5th week sales:

KarenPang 24th February 2016 10:12 AM

In case Edu can't see the image

If I don't have sensitive skin , I will consider to buy Kuu's 1st body cream products :3

kaled kalil 24th February 2016 02:27 PM

That thing is huge! Get that coin, Kuu!

At this point I think her contact lenses and her 'NOTE' line are really successful, if they keep releasing thing one after another. My problem with the NOTE line is how bland the package looks, even the perfumes are quite bland looking. And I'm still dying to try one of them.

I hope WINTER of LOVE hit the 30k mark!

Btw, I love BE MY BABY, specially during live performances, but Shake Hip needs some love as well, and it seems like a song that would make the crowd happy as well. Let's make a deal then, let's replace Megumi no Hito (which is cute and all) to Shake Hip then. haha

OyTony 24th February 2016 03:14 PM

Do they sell the LOVE series stuff at her tours? I want to try the body cream. =)

Gustavopc 24th February 2016 05:43 PM

I usually like her perfume promo pics, but everything looks so out of place in that one D:

Glad to see WoL still charting, even if it might be on its last week(s).
