Random question, does anyone know if the Kloop backpacks were functional? Like with zippers and pockets? Or were they just wearable plushies? I tried using Google, but didn't turn up any info.
|
I would love it if ku would release something that I actually like again for once.
|
Is there anyone have Tour schedule in english, please?
|
^ I think one was posted on KumiLoveS
|
The tour schedule was also officially posted in English at the global fanclub.
Just copied and pasted, but notice it isn't the full tour, just the dates for the first ticket lottery: [Performance Schedule] Wed Mar 30th Chiba Ichihara Hall Thu Mar 31st Chiba Ichihara Hall Sat Apr 9th Fukuoka Fukuoka Sun Palace Sun Apr 10th Fukuoka Fukuoka Sun Palace Sat Apr 16th Osaka Osaka Orix Theater Sun Apr 17th Osaka Osaka Orix Theater Sat Apr 23rd Aomori Link Station Hall (Aomori Hall) Sun Apr 24th Iwate Morioka Civic Cultural Hall Fri Apr 29th Tokushima Naruto Bunka Kaikan Sat Apr 30th Kagawa Sunport Hall Takamatsu Thu May 5th Kanagawa Kenmin Hall Sat May 7th Tokyo NHK Hall Sun May 8th Tokyo NHK Hall Fri May 13th Osaka Festival Hall Sat May 14th Osaka Festival Hall Sat May 21st Wakayama Wakayama Prefectural Cultural Hall Sun May 22nd Shiga Biwako Hall Main Theatre Sat May 28th Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall Sat Jun 4th Yamanashi Colany Hall (Yamanashi Prefectural Citizen's Culture Hall) Thu Jun 16th Hokkaido Nitori Bunka Hall (Former Hokkaido Kosei Nenkin Hall) Fri Jun 17th Hokkaido Nitori Bunka Hall (Former Hokkaido Kosei Nenkin Hall) Thu Jun 23rd Ishikawa Hondanomori Hall (Former Ishikawa Kosei Nenkin Hall) Sat Jun 25th Niigata Niigata Prefectural Civic Center Sat Jul 2nd Gifu Nagaragawa Convention Center Sun Jul 3rd Mie Center For the Arts Main Hall Fri Jul 22nd Toyama AUBADE HALL (Citizens Arts Administration Center of Toyama) Sat Jul 23rd Nagano Matsumoto Performing Arts Centre Sat Aug 13th Tottori Yonago Convention Center BiG SHiP Sun Aug 14th Shimane Shimane Arts Center Grand Toit Main Hall Sun Sep 11th Yamagata Yamagin Hall (Prefectural Hall) Here's the second half of the tour with ticket lottery starting after March: 2016.06.28 (Tue) ROHM Theater Kyoto - main hall 2016.06.29 (Wedn) ROHM Theater Kyoto - main hall 2016.07.09 (Sat) Matsuyama civic center 2016.07.10 (Sun) Kochi Prefectural Culture Hall 2016.07.16 (Sat) Nagoya Congress Center - Century Hall 2016.07.17 (Sun) Nagoya Congress Center - Century Hall 2016.07.30 (Sat) Tokyo International Forum - Hall A 2016.07.31 (Sun) Tokyo International Forum - Hall A 2016.08.18 (Thu) Nara Centennial Hall - Great Hall 2016.08.19 (Fri) Kobe International Conference Center - International Hall 2016.08.26 (Fri) Kurashiki Municipal House 2016.08.27 (Sat) Shunan Cultural Center 2016.09.03 (Sat) Shizuoka citizen Cultural Center 2016.09.04 (Sun) Shizuoka citizen Cultural Center 2016.09.09 (Fri) Akita Prefectural Civic Centre 2016.09.15 (Thu) Tochigi Prefectural Cultural Center 2016.09.17 (Sat) Gunma Beisia Culture Hall 2016.09.19 (Mon) Ibaraki Prefectural Culture Center 2016.09.23 (Fri) Sendai Sun Plaza Hall 2016.09.24 (Sat) Koriyama Civic Cultural Center 2016.09.30 (Fri) Miyazaki Citizens Cultural Hall 2016.10.01 (Sat) Kagoshima civic culture Hall first 2016.10.06 (Thu) Municipal House Sojo - University Hall (Kumamoto Municipal House) 2016.10.08 (Sat) Nagasaki Brick Hall 2016.10.18 (Tue) Omiya Sonic City 2016.10.23 (Sun) Fukui Phoenix Plaza 2016.10.29 (Sat) Saga City Cultural Center 2016.10.30 (Sun) Oita iichiko Guranshiata 2016.11.13 (Sun) Okinawa Civic Center Just noticed she ends the tour in Okinawa on her birthday. She just posted last year how much she loves Okinawa (making holiday there last year) and that she wanted to perform there. Happened quickly. :) |
I totally forgot she was on another tour. I will need to look up more info on this live. God, this woman loves to perform!!
|
I know it's random but I'm still mad that Shake Hip is not her 'new' BE MY BABY. I love that song so much, and I wish she would replace BE MY BABY with Shake Hip since 2013.
|
Be my baby is my life i would not accept that lol she could just do both haha i'd like it. Shake hip is def. My favorite song from color the cover
|
Shake Hip is one of my favorite songs recorded by kuu.
|
Also loving Shake Hip over here. That song is my everything. Be My Baby is amazing, too, but it's not Shake Hip :P
|
I never knew how to take Shake Hip. It's ok. But it's very different from Be My Baby. Shake Hips chorus just kind of rolls in, but Be My Baby's explodes. The verses escalate, making you anticipate, and the climactic points always clear-cut. Shake Hip is cheeky, but Be My Baby is fierce, dramatic, and commanding.
Another thing I love in Be My Baby is how the slate is like wiped clean right before the bridge. It's as if a single hand motion snatches the sound, and throws it back down, causing it to kind of splash outward as a giant matter of sparkle and synthetic dust. It happens around 1:22, and it's my favorite part in the song. I think this technique is utilized throughout the song in various portions as well, but it takes center stage at this portion in the song. |
I hope we get DVD/BD covers for the THE ARTIST soon. I've decided not to watch the TV version on Saturday and wait till the blu-ray in March.

I'm glad you guys like my descriptions. I love to talk about music visually. I have one friend who likes to chill and listen to music with me and do the same, discussing the songs as if they were paintings and we were actually watching them unfold visually in real time. Never Kumi or J-pop though. I would really like to have those kind of conversations with J-pop fans in real life though. It's easier to draw attention to the intricacies and layers within a track when you're sharing the same listening experience.
I have thought about doing some written project of the sort (a review thread, website, blog, etc.), but I'm so busy at the moment. I can't really undertake such a project. |
We're all waiting for new music...
...but Kuu is launching her first skin care items! 3 fragrance body creams for moisturizing, coming 03/01. In the scents of her three perfumes Love Note, Love Touch and Nude Note. http://imageshack.com/a/img922/1985/IgM40o.jpg All stuff available at this official site: http://special.scentnations.com/ Kuu also made a LINE post about it this morning: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/280...924/yeHxHB.jpg (click for bigger) She's telling that in the fan meetings after the concerts (there was one for every concert last year), her fans often asked her which perfume she's using. And it's the black Love Touch. And Winter of Love 5th week sales: http://imageshack.com/a/img922/402/iBLOts.png |
In case Edu can't see the image
Spoiler:
If I don't have sensitive skin , I will consider to buy Kuu's 1st body cream products :3 |
That thing is huge! Get that coin, Kuu!
At this point I think her contact lenses and her 'NOTE' line are really successful, if they keep releasing thing one after another. My problem with the NOTE line is how bland the package looks, even the perfumes are quite bland looking. And I'm still dying to try one of them. I hope WINTER of LOVE hit the 30k mark! Btw, I love BE MY BABY, specially during live performances, but Shake Hip needs some love as well, and it seems like a song that would make the crowd happy as well. Let's make a deal then, let's replace Megumi no Hito (which is cute and all) to Shake Hip then. haha |
Do they sell the LOVE series stuff at her tours? I want to try the body cream. =)
|
I usually like her perfume promo pics, but everything looks so out of place in that one D:
Glad to see WoL still charting, even if it might be on its last week(s). |
