^That's cold comfort. I just got my copy in the mail, and Miliyah along with her staff put in some effort in this release.

It's a damn shame that Sony Japan didn't even TRY to do right by her.

That wouldn't have changed anything about the sales, just cosmetics.

I'm simply happy for her she can go on and is having a Budokan live next year!

If you guys haven't watched, Miliyah has started posting her performing while playing keyboard on her IGTV (so far three). I assume she's doing this at her home since she started it cause of the Stay At Home request. Her second video had her baby cooing off camera and her beaming with happiness everytime he cooed at her, sooooo cute.

I'm really excited for both of these releases! I hope we get some cool song choices for the cover album and some surprising cover versions for the tribute album.

The participants in her tribute album aren’t very exciting so far...

I’m also guessing AI and/or Thelma, lol.

Unfortunately her peers at her peak are now not very active haha.

^so far I think this is a very strong choice, just probably not your cup of the. BiSH and LiSA are still very much selling, Shota was an obvious choice and the other may be friends, people that inspired her or the other way around.
Big names would just be there for a selling reason.

Can we make a guess already who will be covering Aitai (Shota?)

After she did those covers on her instagram I was hoping she'd get inspired for a cover album, but having a tribute album as well is really great. I hope she releases ayu's A Song for xx in her cover album :P

As for the tribute album, I wouldn't be surprised with AI on it, it's also her 20th anniv so she can promote herself and Miliyah while at it, would be a nice move.

new song, sound pretty olds-school miliyah, but in a good way.
It has only 60 views after 2 days. so sad!

I don't like the previews so far, they sound way too generic. But then again, the songs chosen are already generic and boring. Miliyah has way better songs,the tracklist itself is already uninspiring and far from what the album title suggests.

Also, the new song is the kind of music I never liked and always found boring.

^woha, i think the new song sounds great. As for the songs on INSPIRE, Yuushatachi is my all time fav Miliyah song 8and i will probably get it tattooded) - WHY, Last Love, Ai ga furu, Lipstick and Lonely hearts are all exceptional great songs too (not to mention the others are also great). They are all pretty "Miliyah-ish" songs - but work more through her it seems. Mika Nakashima did a really bad Job tho.

^Personally I prefer songs like Rakuen, Watashi no na wa innocence, Femme Fatale, Atashi no saibou, Utakata no hibi, This is my party, Tengoku no door, Shounen shoujo, Kamisama, Reisei to jounetsu no aida, Nemurenu yoru no sei de, Meikyuu etc. and think those songs are Miliyah at her most creative. I don't know, I just don't like the typical sound she is known for, never was my cup of tea and I will probably find it forever utterly boring. For me personally there is nothing creative to this sound and those songs sound like your typical Nishino Kana song everyone could put out. Same goes for the new song. But tastes are different. ;)
