It looks like a new shoot. Due to how things have been, could be the perfume trois or something else but... new picture!

At first I was like "OMG NEW MUSIC" but then I remembered aeternal trois it's supossed to come soon :(

Yeah, new music seems to be the gut reaction but the reality seems more like it'd be something else.

Not that I think it matters, but I commented on Kazuyoshi Shimomura’s publication about Ayu on Instagram saying that what if the new project was a new single, and he Himself liked the comment. Please let it be lol

Even just a bit of color would be nice. POWER of MUSIC 2018 booklet had that red and a few other colors but otherwise things have been peachy/cream or B&W recently.

Seeing this show up on avex China's Weibo makes me think it is not the perfume, but if not that... then what?

IDK... those ARE the correct dimensions for a new single cover... It seems odd Ayu would choose a perfectly square image when the IG story itself uses the glitch effects on the whole screen space.

Srsly tho, I thought it was the single cover for "Pray" when it flashed. It took a second for me to realize that it wasn't.

Yeah, the cut of the image leads people to think it's for a music release along with the somewhat wide range of places mentioning this. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Weibo)

If it was just a perfume, why choose this one to actually tease when the other two kind of just got announced randomly?

I'm remembering this tweet from a month ago or so when they teased some news and it ended up being CDL's BD/DVD, and that was only on Twitter!

XD during the past few months the TA updates were underwhelming and either about videos being uploaded to youtube, concert streams or the perfume so yeah, I’ve given up on the odds of her releasing new music :(

Oof, I liked the shot when I saw a smaller version, but in the big one it looks like her hair is disappearing inside her eye... scary

I saw a theory it was maybe gonna be a mini album based on the "Ayu covers one eye = mini album" and it's true for all the minis that her hair covers one eye except again, lol. And on TROUBLE, they just crop half of her face off in the covers used as "official" like CD+DVD versions.



The picture does fit the bill but it's more of a crackpot theory than anything.
