Well...Someone on last.fm brought up a good point that when Lady Gaga truly tries something weird for an album cover, we're disappointed. But when they're not weird, it's okay. So I guess I'm looking at the cover from a new perspective and now it's not THAT bad. It's still horrendous though.

^But everything she's been doing so far has been weird, and we've liked almost all of it, although not universally (I personally hate the BTW video). The album cover isn't "truly weird"...well, it is, but it's because of how retardedly awful it is that people don't like it, not because it's unconventional.

I know she's "suffering for her art" or whatever, but she's not a bad looking woman. I don't know why she insists on running around looking a hot mess and then making a cover out of it.

There's amazingly inventive, cool weird, and there's crappy weird.

Artists don't come up with their best works all the way throughout their lives or careers, masterpieces just pop up whenever they feel like it :shrug

And can we please talk about the facial implants? Seriously, those are the ugliest things I think I've ever seen. In all the recent pictures I've seen she STILL has them so I'm really hoping they are just prosthetic or whatever and not under the skin, though I highly doubt she would have done that.

^ Nah the prosthetics aren't permanent. She can't take them with her when she moves on to her next big ~artistic era~.

I feel I should still buy the album, but I'll probably rip the cover off and if the booklet is as bad, I'll literally just throw it away.

I hate the cover not for the concept but for the execution.. it looks so cheap..
