I agree. TA often feels abandoned. No gallery/video updates, diary entries happen very seldom. Only one issue of digital magazine which is more than 1 year old. They also never implemented "chat with Ayu" feature which was advertised before fanclub renewal and was teased by Ayu herself.

Take GACKT for example. he posts pics on instagram every single day, pops up on twitter every now and then. His fanclub is, well, they have a magazine that comes in the same as Ayu's they do have a wallpaper section though, and they used to have a "village" where members could make their own blogs, not sure it exists anymore since he changed managements, he also has a blog which has pics in it, a lot of them, but only a couple of himself. His blogs are hella long BUT they are excerpts from some other account he has for paid viewers, on some other website, only those can read the full stuff. And well the FC can get tickets before anyone else. I'm not sure about the price, but it's the same shit. The only thing i always see people complaining about is the magazines that get shared around. And those have stopped now too. He used to have a video or two exclusively for the FC but, it seemed to have died down as well. However, yes avex shouldn't promote something if they aren't giving that, i'll agree on that with you. other than that, Ayu's FC stuff isn't any different really.

^Exactly. The days of posting a letter to a fanclub address are gone. You can contact anyone you want if they're on Twitter. And sharing stuff on Twitter and FB allows you to reach more people than those who are members of the fanclub.

Many things that were differential issues on 2000~2005 nowadays are obsolet, but avex sucks at letting these things go... Like buying a single to get a password for a making-of? Just post snippets of it on Instagram and then include the full thing in the DVD :laugh There are SO MANY things ayu could be doing to reach more fans but ain't...

this is SO true! it makes me kinda sad 'cause we all know avex won't change their marketing strategies any time soon.

The only purpose of TA is getting concert tickets now days. The only real reason I am paying for it - securing tickets and getting good seats.

Is it 100% sure to get a ticket if entering the lottery? Not sure if i should book my flight as soon as she announces the tour or if i have to wait till i'm sure i got tickets

^ I think all overseas members won tickets. If it's not 100%, chance is very high anyway
