I hope the set list for the concert is more "Japanese" than the CDL. I didn't get that theme at all. The intro was a little bit Japanese but more circussy than JP

Really wish I could go to this :( Love the theme and I think it's gonna be a great show. I'll just have to settle for next years tour (if there will be one lol)

Yes me too !!! I wonder if the covers of ayumi x 4 was the original concept of I am...?

Didn't she plan for the I am... cover to be the same as/similar to Dearest's? Kind of like how appears/LOVEppears and SURREAL/Duty covers are similar.

If the initial plan for the covers was the ayu-mi-x 4 covers then that's awesome because those covers are the shit.

ExodusUK 26th April 2016 12:15 PM

I find that whole thing confusing...she says in the Time interview that she planned a very grand and fabulous shoot typical of herself, anyone would then expect the album artwork for I Am... to be very A BEST or portrait simple style, yet the photos are Ayu portrayed as some sort of deity Eve figure looking unworldly gorgeous and glamorous even wrapped in ivy.

I doubt it, because if that was the case, it wouldn't have been changed : the cover style of Dearest is quite peaceful and pure.

She planned a "fake" Japanese /Japan as a foreigner would think of it theme and that seemed to be carried over to the remix albums. The concept was suddenly changed after 9/11 to the actual I am... concept because she thought it'd be too tacky to be opulent after the terrorists attacks happened.

come on Ayu, announce the tour goods already!

AyuGAME 26th April 2016 06:04 PM

trailer? I can't open that youtube video...

Gustavopc 26th April 2016 06:15 PM

It says the video has been removed by the uploader :/ Gotta wait now to see it...

RealLight 26th April 2016 06:20 PM

You can't watch it from here, go to her channel, it's working fine there.

oaristos 26th April 2016 06:25 PM

You can watch the trailer here.

I forgot she wore that bunny outfit during the CDL. How embarrassing was that... :no

I love the bunny outfit so much, imo I was cute and fun of her to do something random like that.

I believe Timmy posted here a few times. As did David Reitzas.

I asked Timmy and he said he didn't, but maybe he has since.

Sorry for going back to old posts.

I hope the goods aren't similar to the CDL ones, those were pretty uninspiring.

May have been thinking about his Jpopmusic posts.

But that's a rumour so I'm not even bothering with the possibility :laugh tbh I don't think she'll name the album after the tour, especially cause the last two album names had nothing to do with the concerts going on when they came out

Then you would get all the blah about how its to similar to Kuu's japonesque, though I guess no mater what ayus does someone will complain :P I would love it. Or even like ayu-mi-x 4 style, a mix of modern and old

JinHamasaki 27th April 2016 01:55 AM

I really hope that "MADE IN JAPAN" looks more forward to Japan's hi-tech craziness. She's done traditional themes throughout many songs...

IMO the CDL was a complete let down compared to the previous CDL. There wasn't a big showy act.

Also I'm being super selfish because I'm flying all the way to Nagoya to see her and I want a WOW spectacle. If she sits on stage strumming a samisen I would have stuck with YouTube
