Some people bring up good points but if Ayu was to do rap/hip hop it would most likely be the mainstream type. I also think that avex wouldn't approve of such a drastic and risky change. At the end of the day Ayu works for avex, not the other way around.
I like Nothing From Nothing too but I wouldn't be in favor of a revival.:laugh
But it would be interesting to say the least.

^agree, maybe one song or a new collab with that style would be pretty cool, but a whole album? I'm not sure about that :rolleyes

If Ayu was to do a mainstream sounding hip hop song/album, I feel like it would be in the spirit of someone like Kid Cuddi, as opposed to 2 Chainz lol

Pretty sure that's just the time being displayed backstage as she gets prepped for the show. They use the 24-hour system, so it's probably just 3PM.

Aww! I thought I'm the only one who doesn't think that she looks very tired but like "classic" Ayu. This reminds me of the days like concert tour 2000 where she looks very natural imo.

Puffy eyes are a thing in Japan, so she could just be following a trend. I don't think she looks tired, personally.

^Actually yeah, seeing that picture of young Ayu she just looks like herself not really that tired, lol. I feel like all I do is say she's pretty on every thread all over this forum but she's so damn pretty :laugh

Randomly, I find that Ayu fans tend to comment on how pretty they think she is, more so than fans of other celebs. Like, I've seen her be referred to as "the most beautiful woman in the world" by some. I would say someone like Namie Amuro is much better looking, but I don't find that her fans are constantly talking about it.

Overall, I think Ayu's aesthetic is more animated and somewhat painterly, which I prefer.

And let me tell you, the Namie thread is full of comments on her 'flawless' looks anytime a photo is published.
