I don't think Kanon is that kind of artist. I think she is more like Kokia or Rurutia and want to meet her fan than the camera. And she probably wants to be really famous out of Japan it's why she'll come in Europe and US :yes

I miss having Kanon updates! Any news on what she's been up to?

Also, I have a note to make: I listened to "Shinshoku Dolce" on my iPod a week or so ago for the first time (I had only ever listened to it on my laptop outloud) and I was so surprised at all of the stuff I was missing out on! I never heard/noticed the cat meowing at the beginning of "Ennui Kibun!" and she hums the song at the very end of it when she's turning her shower back on. I just love that!

Okay, now I have a question: is there a site that has lyrics and/or translations of her songs? I can't recall if that's been posted here before or not... thanks!

That was a shower??? I thought she was watering her garden or something.... :thud

Also, I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but Kanon is also appearing at three dates of the Japan Expo in France at the beginning of July. One is a live performance.

^Wow!! An American release!!! It's probably gonna flop, but still, wow!! Are the songs going to be in English? Plus, three more performances from her! Hmm... she really is quite busy....

taskinillusion 11th June 2009 12:26 AM

Oh ****! I am SO buying the US version of her album! How freaking amazing and awesome is that?!?! She probably won't sell massive amounts of her album or anything, but I am totally supporting her. She is so amazingly talented. :heart

lol I hope not! I listen to Kanon at work - it's very peaceful :yes

The US album sounds cool - I wonder if it will be English versions of the Japanese songs?

Bad Wolf 11th June 2009 05:24 AM

HOLY SFJIDS SHE'S RELEASING IT HERE?! I'm totally pre-ordering it (if I can). My birthday is right around June 30th and I can't imagine a nicer treat for myself for turning 22.

I'm not sure how fluent Kanon is in English, so I think it's safe to assume the album will still be in Japanese. For example, Dir en grey's last two albums saw US releases and the songs weren't changed. The only difference was, I think, the lyrics were printed in English. That might be the case for Kanon, but I can't say for sure, obviously.

Oh I'm so excited :'DDD

AyUta 11th June 2009 06:15 AM

Oh, I doubt she will re-sing them in English. It might also be hard to find....VERY hard. =_=;;

Bad Wolf 11th June 2009 06:22 AM

Maybe Amazon.com~ :O They usually have a nice selection of things.

Mirai Noah 11th June 2009 05:31 PM

Oooo, I'm gonna get the US version! :D

Maemi 11th June 2009 05:38 PM

American release? Honestly, i don't understand why they'd do that... She hasn't even succeed in Japan yet...

AyuHamasaki01 11th June 2009 05:38 PM

I couldn't even find the EU version in the stores here .... (-_-'')

same here >.>

Bad Wolf 11th June 2009 07:37 PM

^ I know this is a silly question, but maybe it was being sold in like, "special" sort of shops that gear towards strange music. Do you guys have anything like that in Europe? I know here in the US there's that stupid Hot Topic store, and while I don't really like their clothes or anything they usually have a good selection of music you can't really find anywhere else. They stock a lot of German and Japanese stuff, so they'll probably be the ones who get Kanon's CD.

If I had a enough money I'd get copies for the two of you and send it off~

taskinillusion 12th June 2009 12:20 AM

^ You're right, that's probably the type of place who will actually sell her music. I can't imagine any other place where I live that would, really. But I can always buy it from Amazon or something, which I will totally do because I AM getting this! :yes
