TRICK stay on chart for 21 weeks

GUILTY had been charting for 16 weeks. This was the 15th week for NEXT LEVEL. I am sure it will chart for at least 4 weeks more. But yeah there are really no chances for it to beat TRICK.

has it stop charting or it's still....

has it stop charting....??

People are probably a little more financially flush now, it was saying how wages in Britain have raised a little after a major low, so maybe it's the case in other countries?

Hey, it's cool that S/S is already helping the sales of NL ^__^

I hope it gets to the big 370 next week!

PEARL 11th July 2009 09:32 AM

Go NL.
Trick includes kuu's dirty ballroom live right?
maybe thats why kuu's sales are higher?
i don't know..~

ALfromHELLSING 11th July 2009 12:45 PM

^No offensive as I'm Ultimate fan of both. BUT, Kuu has at least performed album tracks to promote TRICK:
Bling Bling Bling feat.AK-69 (2 times) & Joyful (5 times). Ayu did only Rule LIVE and only 1 (!) time! She need to perform new single at least few times...
Kuu's Lick me ❤ perf. helped her to move it in iTunes TOP100 from #4->#2 and ECSTASY perf helped to hold it on #18. While poor Hashire! moved from #30->#40 'cause she's not performing it at all...

ayuayu798 11th July 2009 02:51 PM

^ that makes sense. I'm sure that if ayu were to do something like, her sales would have been higher!

yea... AVEX are like marketing experts (hm hm), and it seems that they are always experimenting with their artists and their sales; creating new ways of promoting, new ways of releasing material etc, which is pretty cool sometimes, but mostly random and annoying. :S

ayuayu798 11th July 2009 02:59 PM

^ I know! Maybe they thought ayu was popular enough and didn't need much promtions, but we all know that popularity isn't the only thing that determines sales,so they better not do that again!!

yeaa :S but I'm pretty sure they might do it again... :thud

ayuayu798 11th July 2009 03:10 PM

yep I agree, better than nothing xD

ayuayu798 11th July 2009 03:18 PM

^See! but i have to say, ayu's album sales for NL are pretty stable, for barely having any promotion.

Totally. There were many factors that could really affect sales, and the album still sold/selling pretty good :D

ayuayu798 11th July 2009 03:31 PM

^ that's the power of ayu! :P

kendelle 11th July 2009 03:34 PM

It's a respectable performance, but I do think that Avex shot themselves in the foot by limiting promotion.

NL could have been huge if they spent more time promoting it before release. Ayu needed more time to heal her wrist instead of being in the studio :no If they pick up promotion from S/S then there's a chance her next album will do much better.

rakeru 12th July 2009 06:08 AM

why would avex do that, though? they should know by now, in the present state of things, that even a name as big as Ayu's can't be relied on alone to sell. although NL did respectably, i desperately want the next album to sell higher.

PEARL 12th July 2009 07:37 AM

its been a long long time since Ayu performed her songs live x.x
since RULE.
why is that so? x.x

zyoeru 12th July 2009 07:41 AM

^ Probably because there wasn't enough time. I think Avex was relying on the USB and Ayu's name far too much.

Plus now she's on tour, but there's a lull now, right? So she may perform some TV slots.
