^I wouldn't agree that Memorial address is one of her best, but... yes I do agree with introductions and interludes - we can live without them and take a rest from them for a while :)

Girl - reading all the posts here I could probably count the people who think that on one hand. That's pretty good for a new ayu song :laugh

MOON is so amazing! I loved it!! ♥♥♥

pop909 12th June 2010 08:02 PM

Theres something about this song i dont like.

I dont know its not her voice, or anything like that because we've heard that from the rip.

Its something about the instruments i dont know it resembles the quality i dont like. (hard to explain). In some parts, it might be just the quality of the mp3, but the bass is so dead lol.

I definetly think that blossom should be the lead single now...

adantatu2 12th June 2010 08:04 PM

Her voice sounds so much better, i like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it seems more people are coming out about liking it now, lol. :D Just a lot of 'meh' comments all came out at first. ^^'

gallowsCalibrator 12th June 2010 08:09 PM

Yeah, "meh" comments make me sad because I personally love the song, but as long as a majority love it, I'll be a happy person (*^_^*)

She really should use this old composer more often and use this same tone of voice in more of her ballads. Dropping the vibrato was such a good move. Now just to wait for the covers/PV. I'm really interested in what she'll do with this PV.

lakrits 12th June 2010 08:27 PM

If MOON is supposed to be part of a trilogy that might be the reason that they made a version where a verse were cut out and the song was shortened. If I'm not totally wrong that's what they did for vogue - Far away - SEASONS to make a long PV with all of the 3 songs.

Anyway, I'm even more excited for this single now after having heard the MOON rip, I so LOVE the intro :love!
I can't wait to hear blossom & the remixes :love

I know, right? :yconfused I'm so confused over what the general consensus is on this song because of AHS's odd mood swings lol. Regardless, I LOVE IT! Someone previously said that it sounds a bit like "Far Away" and I definitely agree. Wasn't Duty one of the more favored albums here at AHS? If so, then I thought more people would like "MOON" because it sounds like it came from that era. Knowing that, I think this song will be popular with the Japanese public as well because it's such a strong, nostalgic ballad.

Crystal_Ageha 12th June 2010 09:13 PM

^ Hm. I honestly don't hear the Far away thing, other than the nostalgia.... But no, I don't think Duty is a very liked album here (RAINBOW and, of freakin' course, MY STORY seem to be the two most favoured in general, from what I've seen). D: But the Japanese, on the other hand, obviously love it, and I think this throw-back to the feel of her earlier albums will be a success. :yes

Wow, I actually liked MOON. I'm not going crazy over it like I did with BALLAD, but I thought it was really pretty. Good job Ayu :)

I really loved the chaku uta chorus we had, and I still love the chorus now.
It's just that the rest is.. don't know. Not overwhelming, but for You were... it took a week for me to like it and even more for me to love it so I guess I will MOON in the end, too.
Just needs some time.

I always see people raving about Duty, and they ALWAYS have to compare it to her newer stuff and be like "omg Duty is so much better". People bringing it up so much and constantly comparing it to her newer stuff that I happen to enjoy a lot more makes me like it less and less.

stepYOU1234 12th June 2010 09:36 PM

I really like it. Not love yet, but we'll see! It does remind me of something from duty. It has a similar feel to Key and SCAR but with more warmth like Days. Some good lyrics too that aren't as repeatitive as some songs have been getting. Can't wait to see some more information- lives, covers e.t.c. :D

There is still subtle vibrato throughout the song, although it is very well controlled and not just randomly going everywhere. Possibly its effect is used to portray a character of restraint? Anyways though, I love her vocals in MOON!

I agree. A beautiful soft vibrato. I hope it continues to stay that way in lives

I must be crazy, I was ok with the live rip, but now the actual rip .... except the chorus, NO. I didn't even notice the rest, I dunno, something is missing for me and something BIG ! Plus it sounds ... I dunno, it's sunny outside, and all, not the time for me for this !
