seriously crossing my fingers for no rock tracks on this album. I'll be happy with anything, even more ballads, as long as it's NOT rock.

yeah I know, everyone here is crazy over her rock songs.. I'm very sick of them though. she has had way too many of them these past few years.

Maybe it's the way they're arranged. But even so, I would love for her to experiment a little more with her rock songs. Ayu needs a YUI style rock song! :D Throw a little bit of Koshi Inaba for good measure! XDD

I think she does actually like her electronic stuff. She loved Sparkle, always used to write lyrics from it in her TA diaries back during that time. She created a whole album of electro-rock songs (NEXT LEVEL) and now we have Last Angel.

I think its safe to assume she might have another one or two electro songs up her sleeve for the next album.

I am just over the ballads. I mean I'm sure I'll love them regardless, but I want more upbeat pop and rock songs! Not synth-pop like EnergizE or HONEY or MY ALL. Like INSPIRE, etc.

well, she has 3 ballads so far for the album. she could still do a couple more.

I need more Ayu rock! Lol. We haven't had ANY rock singles this year so I really need one. The only like "wam-bam hardcore fierce in-your-face with attitude I'm-Hamasaki-Ayumi-Beotch'" new rock song from the last album was Microphone. The rest of the rock was midtempo rock stuff but not as hard as 1LOVE, BoY, is this LOVE?, talkin' 2 myself... etc.

i'm hoping for a little more rock too. another song in the realm of "is this LOVE?" or "talkin' 2 myself" would be beyond amazing. :luv2

I just want some fresh news from the new album at this moment. It has been almost a week, and nothing more revealed except our speculations on what the album should sound like..

But in actuality, I'm not gonna make this into my dream album because that will disappoint. MY STORY comparisons arose with R'n'R and I let it get the best of me and it totally blew up in my face. So I will not listen or even hope for that this time around. But I will say I would like at least one hard-rock song, one trance/dance song, and one GOOOOOD ballad. Like JEWEL/Days/rainy day or something. I just haven't been pleased with the ballads lately.

I dont think so, considering that tracks on ayu's albums are a lot more varied than other artists...there's plenty of things that we can get in 13-15 tracks.

Look at RAINBOW. Some people do have some weird ideas though...
