I always thought she had such an interesting voice~

Anyway, as much as her high snl performance sucked, her american idol one right now was good~

didn't like some things she changed, but meh. At least she looked like she was actually there.

New lead single called "Diamond" out today

So about Diamonds.

Who listened to the premiere of the song already?And what do you think about it?

I think it's a nice song and something different again.

But I am not too hyped by now I hope it will grow on me!

^ same like you. I'm not fond with Diamond. I usually like her lead single the most but Diamond fail to impress me. hopefully it will grow on me in the future

I fear that Rihanna has just done too much that this "new" music is...disappointing.

We Found Love was different for Rihanna, and Calvin Harris did wonders with that song. Majestic and beautiful song. Diamond is just...there. I have no real reason to listen to it. It's not catchy and the beat isn't out of this world.

The song isn't horrible
Either Rihanna is taking vocal classes or someone processed her vocals through an epic corrector.
The lyrics are obviously virulent and awful, but her vocal quality (save for a few cringe moments) is not bad.
I actually bought the song on iTunes.

Diamonds sounds not that bad , but I am a bit disappointed because the way she sings "Shine bright like a diamond"

Honestly, it sounds like Lana del Rey's music had a baby with Rihanna's music lol

Her vocals are a lot nicer in this song. Still find it boring though.

Okay I gave it a new listen and I can now say that I love this song for her voice and it's lovely feeling.

Too bad it is not available in Germany iTunes yet=(

i kinda like it, but i feel like the song doesn't go with her voice.

i'll wait until the music video. i didn't really appreciate "We Found Love" until the video as odd as that sounds.

Song is written by Sia and Rihanna herself sings a bit like Sia does. I wonder why lol. :D

But either way I really love this song though it's not that catchy. The lyrics fit perfectly to one of my stories which is always great since this story needs to be finished by December 31st.

Diamond is okay I guess. It could sound better if it was remixed to make the beat faster or something like that. IMO, it doesn't feel like a very strong song for a lead single.

I don't think I care for Diamond. I really liked WFL when I first heard it, but this...bleh. Sometimes her voice just gets on my nerves too.
