^When I said a repackaged edition of their album will be released at a later date, I was referring to Girls' Generation's album, not Super Junior. Sorry if I didn't sound clear.

AyUmIXx 2nd December 2011 03:51 PM

here's detail from YA of the MR.TAXI album

Quote:

Mr. Taxi, Taxi, Taxi... Girls' Generation follows The Boys with a song that fans already know and love, the infectious dance hit Mr. Taxi, which was first released in Japanese. Featuring brand new photos, the third album repackage includes all the tracks from The Boys album, plus the English version of The Boys.

This edition comes with 12 postcards, 1 randomly selected card, and a poster (shipped separately in a protective cardboard tube). Album and poster shipments may arrive at different times.
according to Yesasia, it's a repackage album lols.

AyusakiFan 2nd December 2011 04:28 PM

^The Korean websites that Soshified has quoted as sources for their information regarding this album only refer to it as a version and not a repackage. So unless a reliable source (most likely a known and reliable Korean website) specifically calls it a repackage, I will be disregarding YesAsia's description until further notice, lol. If this album turns out to be their "repackage", I will order it at a later date but I'm definetely going to wait it out first. I put nothing past the greed of SM and I'm sure if they would release 2 versions of an album and a repackage for Super Junior, there's not much doubt in my mind that they could possibly do it for SNSD as well. I hope it doesn't become a new pattern with them though.

Utena 2nd December 2011 04:52 PM

it's a "Mr. Taxi version", not labelled as a repackage album by SNSD's officials.

ExodusUK 2nd December 2011 05:09 PM

It's not a repackage, just an alternative version. The repackage is in the new year.

bondingo 2nd December 2011 05:42 PM

So we ARE getting a repackage then? Well that sucks if we do; only because I would've totally bought the MR. TAXI version of the original album instead if I knew and then waited for the repackage and bought that as well. No way am I buying three different versions :irked

CoriKaru 2nd December 2011 06:08 PM

Tiffany looks like a Vampire in that Mr. Taxi Cover.

EDIT: Okay, so I'm happy they're still doing "The Boys" Live Performances, but just a while ago, someone posted a video saying it was their "FAREWELL" performance.

Well what were they saying "FAREWELL" to, because it doesn't seem like it was to "The Boys".

AyUmIXx 3rd December 2011 11:36 AM

^ yea and Tiff is the only one with red color lipstick. lols i wonder why.
in the MR TAXI performance with the same outfit, she also the only one who had the red lipstick haha XD and she looks HOT with that.

i've been reading tweets saying few weeks ago, it's gonna be their last goodbye stage but then they also keep on performing
but they didn't have performance for MUCORE though.

bondingo 3rd December 2011 11:50 AM

They really need to stop performing this song. Bring on MR. TAXI please!

Ikr you mean like Mr. Simple with that army looking cover right?
I hope after this MR. TAXI edition they'll have repackage just as SM's new marketing approach :yes

i'm sure they will, maybe next week.

love in music 3rd December 2011 04:48 PM

although I don't like Mr. TAXI in Korean, them performing in those outfits on the cover definitely makes me hate it less. they're a million times better than their yellow ones they used for Japan.

bondingo 4th December 2011 07:46 AM

Anyone else extremely disappointed the Japan concert is lipsynched? I would've bought the blu-ray in a heartbeat if it were actually live. They all have great voices (maybe not Yoona), so I have no idea why they did that. Is the Asia tour from last year lipsynched too? If it isn't, I'll just buy that one.

AyUmIXx 4th December 2011 08:00 AM

^ we have ever discussed bout that before in previous thread.
i guess that most of them were still not so fluent in Japanese also they did quite number of dance songs on the concert, so they lipsynched, only left with slow-pace songs or ballads they sang live.

i think SME was too fast to ask them to go for asia tour in Japan where their Japanese isn't the best yet. but then, nothing can't be done since maybe in Japan the demand of them doing concert tours is high.

as for their korean concert, i've watched it, for me they didn't lipsynch a lot, maybe 1-3 dance songs.

y_nathz 4th December 2011 09:01 AM

there are only a few songs that they performed with lipsynch from last year's asia tour, I bought this one and I enjoyed it though they didn't perform some of my favorite songs..

ExodusUK 4th December 2011 05:58 PM

I'm pretty sure they recorded their Japanese stuff reading romaji or a Hangul equilevant, it's pretty obvious from their pronoucation.

I still lol over the "Kuse ni naru wa" in Genie.

love in music 4th December 2011 07:11 PM

Yeah, they lipsynch sooooo much nowadays. To me it's annoying since I know they can sing well live. They even managed to sing Into The New World well live and that choreography is pretty draining.

Now this is flawless.

dreamland2.0 4th December 2011 08:19 PM

The sing Into the New World live at the Japanese tour too it was really good.
