If I was rich enough I would probably buy every version too. XD Just because the covers are just too beautiful. <3

And I seriously think that getting excited in a release is a good thing, especially if Kuu is the #1 favorite lol. XD

People get excited, because Koda is worth getting excited for. For me? She's hardly ever let me down on expectations. ***** is flawless right now.

I really can't wait for Japonesque. I am really excited because she has obviously worked REALLY hard on this album, and the quality of the covers portrays that already. And whenever Kuu works her socks off she never lets me down. I can't really think of a time she has ever let me down, so I can get excited for this.

IT WILL BE EPIC.

These are legit some of her best album covers ever. I remember being so disappointed in the TRICK covers, and the UNIVERSE ones were like not as cute BEST ~second session~ and Dejavu was OK but her wig killed it for me. These are like, amazeballs. Except the one with the weird ponytail but I can pretend it doesn't exist.

Let me start by saying that Kuu is not my favorite singer, and I don't love everything she does. I do love and respect her and a lot of her music though, so with that in mind, the Koda Kumi threads are essentially a negativity-free zone for the most part not because it's "not allowed," but because the fans as a whole are satisfied completely with what she delivers (for the most part). Which is pretty damn refreshing if you compare it to other singer's fanbases where they're slitting their wrists for a magazine cover or B-side.

An opinion that is not positive doesn't necessarily have to be negative, you know what I mean? It's all in the way it's expressed, and everyone here understands that.

Her fans - especially her hardcore fanbase- are just a bit different compared to other artist's fans, a much "happier" folk. This thread is always a good example. :laugh
Also Kuu always delivers the things she can do best and her fans love her for - mostly at least. And if there is disappointment, people here just phrase it pretty moderate.

I love TRICK covers, at least the clown one. So creative and well executed! One of my favourite covers ever! :heart
Kingdom ones are also absolutely great! Dejavu had a nice theme, but they just put too much on it. Also it was such a overused concept. But overall I never disliked her album covers.

I agree with Corvina.. One thing I found with Kumi and Ayu, to me atleast, is like, Kumi's hardcore fans are almost -ALMOST- pretty much always atleast satisfied with the things she puts out, with few negativity. It's almost always the non-hardcore(?) fans that say negative things about the stuff. With Ayu, I always feel like it's her hardcore fans that is almost always negative and moaning about things whilst the less hardcore are more accepting.. I dunno, just something I noticed

Kuu does things the way she and her fans want. It's not all about herself, that's what sets Kuu apart imo. She doesn't need to be a try-hard. :)

This makes so much sense to me. Its what I've noticed all over the internet with Ayu and Kuu fans, not just here.

I totally agree with you , Well Kumi is my ever ultimate favorite and I'm super dying fan , so I really can't know if everything she does is perfect to others , Like I know every one has an opinion , But when someone says something negative about her works , I wonder if it just me who likes everything she does , opposite when it comes to everyone is like " OMG BEST COVER , BEST SONG , BEST ALBUM !!" I keep wondering if she is too perfect or everyone loves everything kuu does no matter how bad or how good it is .

Like hmmm I love it's a small world ! , I guess it's one of her most random songs XD , but I love it maybe because it's by Kumi and I love singing that song , it makes me happy :laugh
