I would not worry about that. Kaela Kimura for example is performing and she's quite honestly pretty irrelevant now. Voting may account somewhat for who performs on the show but in the end I'm pretty sure it depends on who the labels send to the show.

I don't think it's a requirement for singers to go if they're voted for...? Obviously I'm sure a lot of them -do- want to go, but yeah, I doubt they have to. Just like all the other music shows. Even if you're invited, you can still decline.
