Do we know his face? I wonder if he has been with her in HK and during her Asia tour.

This is too sad.

Ohh thank you for those :)

AyuWorld 21st April 2013 01:58 PM

^

you are welcome. if shes going to US i hope she will make on time for next concert in Nagoya, she must be heartbroken then

BlackSilence 21st April 2013 02:23 PM

it's kind of increadible how people who work together with these celebrities slowly become their family. i know GACKT has a song written for his driver, after he got into an actident that was fatal. i don't quite hear the "family" description from non-asian celebs, while in asia it's pretty usual. It should be really heartwarming to work for these people, to have this kind of support and friendship. It's nice how they care about those they work with. ♥

does anyone know anything what kind of illness was it?

AyuWorld 21st April 2013 02:30 PM

yep i see non-asians take it a more to professional relationship while asians tend to become close and caring for each other easily more,

maybe Ayu will write in TA later, curious about the cause of the death too

my God, this is just too sad :(

majrakun 21st April 2013 02:50 PM

Wow, just read Misa-chan's twitter translations. This is from all the way back in February.

Quote:

numacchi_72: SAKURA… When I read the lyrics for this song, I felt that even if I died then, it would be alright… Thank you ayu-chan for the best poem…

I had to re-read the lyrics to SAKURA for this. It sounds very fitting. I guess they knew back then too?

saigodansu 21st April 2013 02:52 PM

She was just in LA, and is possibly in Hawaii now. He was her driver in Japan though, I think he died there not here in the U.S.

from the recent magazine interview, Ayu said that she wrote SAKURA after she had a conversation with a friend in a restaurant/bar, so Numacci might this friend? the lyrics is inspired from the friend's story. SAKURA is more like a person name

Quote:

here: That song was written after a night of chatting at my friend's restaurant of the same name. So actually, the song is pronounced not like "sakura" the flower, but more like a name, like "Sakura-chan"."
from Misa chan's translation http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117371

Omg this is so sad
I read the tweet translation posted and it breaks my heart :(

AyUmIXx 21st April 2013 03:25 PM

now i wanna read SAKURA again,
i feel that the next tours, ayu'll be in tears most of the time, specially SAKURA.
so, Numacchi-san had been battling with the illness from long time ago, it seems?

freedreamer 21st April 2013 04:58 PM

i think SAKURA is gonna be a very sad song for Ayu to sing hereafter..

AyuWorld 21st April 2013 05:13 PM

i hope someone can record the next SAKURA performance in Nagoya, maybe she'll have hard time singing it, more sobbing >_>

but i just dont dunerstand the "I" in the lyrics refers to someone else and not Ayu herself?

AyuWorld 22nd April 2013 03:13 PM

the news on Yahoo chinese site

http://tw.omg.yahoo.com/news/%E6%BF%...070327046.html

the google translation is scary

Quote:

But there are users in Japan refers to the driver died of an incurable disease, The Ayumi Hamasaki early do not care about late do not care, but only after the death of the people on Twitter Message mourning seems to be by the dead to Bo propaganda. Wow, really Renyankewei! Twitter dialogue from Ayumi Hamasaki and drivers, but also feel the two sympathetic, Ayumi Hamasaki really suffered unexpected calamities.

O.o

terra 22nd April 2013 03:44 PM

The translation is so messy and the wording is so scary :|
And 'calamity' is such a strong and heavy word

Nonetheless SAKURA would probably tear her up in next performances like everyone said, it even seem to coincide JEWEL ~ HEAVEN ~ SAKURA ~ ever free, it's life and death there

They're just saying how Ayu doesn't care about her friend's death, so that she only tweeted about it as he's dying :no

duh, this chinese news always didnt do any justice for her, didnt know shes going to bring him home, thats is so kind and sweet of her

saigodansu 22nd April 2013 07:49 PM

She didn't say she was going to bring him home, that I saw. He died in Japan, she was probably still in LA when he died. She mentioned she wish they had said more when she left 5 days before, which was when she and Natsuki flew to LA and met with Christophe again.
