For those interested in why the tour is titled MADE IN JAPAN:

Quote:

“I’ll be singing some songs which I haven’t sung in a while in this year’s tour MADE IN JAPAN. My staff and dancers were surprised. I want people to enjoy my tour as entertainment as always, of course. But I think this show also has aspects that will make people — even those who aren’t fans or don’t know my music — understand each other, reminding them: “That’s right. Our Japan is like this. That’s what great about Japan.” It’s weird nowadays, right? Things like bashing certain people anonymously online. It’s really weird and it’s getting worse. I think everybody feels this. The abnormality of thinking: “I won’t let someone else be happy!”. That side is also one of the tour’s themes — Like the album I’m working on, the tour is straightforward and frank in various ways. But I think that suits the current me.”

I wonder will she keep rare songs at the entire tour or going to change them from town to town...

truehappiness 27th April 2016 09:31 AM

Knowing Ayu, I think they're gonna be changed every stop and then the final MADE IN JAPAN shows will have the "most desired" tracks that are not performed much.

mizuki-7 27th April 2016 09:33 AM

I already imagine her singing all her angry songs !!

Aderianu 27th April 2016 09:35 AM

yeah, that happend everytime ) But I would be happy to see even 1-2 songs at the final day

truehappiness 27th April 2016 09:37 AM

I'm expecting her to do all the songs that we want her to during the initial part of the tour and then swap to the ones we don't want as much for the final show, sadly.

And the final show would probably also have a new summer single track too if she follows other years. Or something like how Step by step was done pre-sixxxxxx.

Aderianu 27th April 2016 09:38 AM

I see her singing supportive, uplifting songs
something about "everything in your own hands"

truehappiness 27th April 2016 09:39 AM

I'd say maybe POWER of MUSIC songs mixed with some darker stuff to make people think about what they've done. alternas and stuff.

hayasaki 27th April 2016 09:53 AM

I'm praying that Marionette will be switched to Dolls with the same theatrical performance. Dolls suits the scene well, and have ayu stated many years ago that she wanted to emphazise the beauty of Japanese language when she wrote the lyrics to dolls?

B-side song?

I feel like she will perform End roll.

I hope she will sing.. and then, Dolls, Life, Everywhere Nowhere,Close to You, Will, Energize, etc...again

I just don't want Winter Daily in the album ...

Just got myself a ticket for the Nagoya show on the 15th May - anyone else going to that show? Would be cool to meet up with some ayu fans before/after.

I've been in and out of the ayu loop for a while now but I'm pretty keen for this tour, especially if she's bringing out some B-sides.

Corvina 27th April 2016 11:50 AM

I'm a bit confused.
Ayu doesn't have that much b-sides, does she?
Guess, you mean album or rare performed songs.

truehappiness 27th April 2016 11:53 AM

B-sides is not what she said.

"Songs that I have not performed often" is what was written.
