Cuz we really love her lol Personally I'm one of them, she is the ideal of beauty for me but not for my mother. She said once "poor she, she's so ugly", and it wasn't even a joke.
Beauty is really subjective, it gets on my nerves when people don't understand this fact.
edit: just saw the photo pedronoki posted. Plastic surgery who? make up can really do miracles.

I think it's just like when you're in love with someone, you think he/she is the most beautiful thing on the planet even if you DO know that there are better looking people out there. If you put Ayu next to a Miss Universe contestant, everyone will say that the Miss is more beautiful, and i do agree, objectively, it might be the case, no, IT IS the case. But i still think Ayu is more beautiful than all Miss Universe combined because i love her so much :laugh

I don't find Namie attractive at all either, but I can see how some people would think otherwise. 'Cause yeah, beauty is subjective. My best friend and I have never agreed on the same guys, lol Like literally we haven't found a single man we both find attractive. Which is good, we'll never fight over the same guy :laugh But it's funny to see how people's opinions and tastes can be SO different.

But yeah I love Ayu's beauty so much, there's definitely something about her that just sets her apart form every other woman I've ever seen. I can't say she's the most beautiful woman in the world, cause there's definitely thousands of people that have never even posted a picture of themselves on the internet that could literally be the most beautiful person in history and we'll never see 'em :laugh But out of celebrities?! Hell yeah Ayu is the most beautiful woman ever, for me. And I'ma keep saying it all over this forum,

I am pretty sure people are gawking over Namie's pictures in her thread as well, so I do not believe it only happens in Ayu's thread. Also, when I see pics of random celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Birgit Bardot, Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande etc. etc. I read comments like "queen" or "most beautiful girl in the world" all the time! Besides, considering that this is the social networks thread, in which Ayu posts 8 out of 10 times selfies, I have no clue what else we could say. She does indeed look pretty.

Most people on here prob think ayu is prettier. I mean this is ayu's forum, we need an un biased opinion please...

Ayu is a pretty unconventional beauty IMO. When other people try to copy her look (usually the makeup), it looks strange.

And honestly, I don't think it's all that strange if you mainly come to AHS (an Ayu forum) to see that people think she's pretty. It's exactly the same at any other forum or focused thread. Though just as easily people are quick to point out when they think Ayu looks hideous. (like that one Instagram picture where she looked like a man)

If anything it's a testament to Ayu's status that her forum is essentially the only one that is as active as it is and has also ended up housing several other fandoms as well.

My point was that I feel like Ayu fans are much more vocal about her beauty than other fans on other forums. On any forum. Not just this one. I used the example that here I have seen people refer to her as "most beautiful woman in the world", but I would say that Ayu fans everywhere are the same.

I think it's common for all celebrities to a degree. It's just how fans are sometimes.

The difference between Namie and Ayu for me in terms of beauty or whatever is that Namie controls her image a lot stricter and better than Ayu. Ayu will put a makeup free video or photo on Instagram where as Namie doesn't really fuck with social media and we only really see her in photoshoots and music videos.

Yeah, I see this everywhere for all sorts of celebs. I hardly even notice it with ayu fans, lol. I think especially on this forum, people are more realistic and maybe even harsh sometimes when it comes to her appearance.

On the subject of Namie, I think she's super cute, and would never think of her as unattractive. I'm not going to bother comparing to ayu's looks because they both have their own type of beauty.
