Dear god is she in love with Utada Hikaru? Oh well at least there's Heaven and Surreal

Oh I really liked that poker face tribute video. Does anybody have a video of that?

holy_arrow 1st May 2019 02:58 PM

voguehoney 1st May 2019 03:08 PM

Yikes

ddggcw 1st May 2019 03:44 PM

I wouldn't mind a mini P^3. That concert was good. I understand that she can't sell 20 arena shows a year now so this makes sense. But they took out some of the really good songs & parts of P^3. eg. the strings playing moments, end roll...

How is her vocal today

Liking the setlist!

I am not surprised that she recycles from Power of A^3, it was to be expected. As long as the setlist is different I’m fine with that :)

oaristos 1st May 2019 05:32 PM

I'm here for In The Corner, honestly. :heart

Its just if you're going completely deaf...wouldn't it have happened by now? It's just bizarre to me that she announced her condition was so serious, but why would you continue to put yourself in a situation that causes hearing damage. If you have vertigo, you can't even hardly stand up because everything starts spinning, standing on stage for 2 hours is out of the question.

I think

1) it was a publicity stunt to milk sympathy from the public, people love/admire a tragic hero.
2) To give an excuse to pull the plug at any point. She could post on TA tomorrow "I've gone completely deaf and have decided to retire. Thanks and goodbye."

^ I can't accept this argumentation. I think it would have been such a horrible thing to lie to the public about it for pure convenience. I will keep believing about her condition. Also, such things can have their own pace, moments of stagnation etc.

I am fine with the setlist, its length and will keep an eye on how the tour progresses, reports from people attending. I want pictures too!

kotora 1st May 2019 07:06 PM

few songs from (miss)understood era. Interesting

Probably she will have tours like
TROUBLE TOUR - Secret -
TROUBLE TOUR - NEXT LEVEL -
TROUBLE TOUR - Party Queen -
TROUBLE TOUR - Made in Japan -
TROUBLE TOUR - Love Again -

What? Illness isn't all or nothing. Just because she has vertigo (had she actually said this?) doesn't mean she can't live her life and do her job. I'm sure she is on treatment to monitor it.
