For a summer song, Sunrise is one of the best she's come up with. And so is Next Level, although its only an album track. 2 great summer tracks in one year. Miles above glitter or blue bird.

aww I loved Sunrise/Sunset thanks to Sunset xD

I always watch Sunset's pv at sunset cause it makes me feel nostalgic <3

and Sunrise when I get up in the morning!! :innocent

the songs ain't bad... the covers were ugly and the pvs boring/weak

still pretty okay songs I think.

:)

:yes i definitely agree. i used to like glitter, but with the release of Sunrise and just realizing how much better it is i don't like it anymore lol.

glitter and BLUE BIRD even more are way better than Sunrise and NEXT LEVEL imo.

I think Sunrise is boring and NEXT LEVEL not really a summer song, more like a really great spring song=)

yeah ! totally agree with you ! may be Sunset's a bit boring but Sunrise 's wonderful ! i thing it's much better than Glitter ( but fated>>>>>sunset )

Crystal_Ageha 11th November 2009 10:22 AM

I'm not a huge fan of Sunrise/Sunset, but I definitely think Sunrise is a lot better than glitter and a little better than BLUE BIRD. But yeah, fated totally owns Sunset, hah. :heart

njanjayrp 11th November 2009 10:52 AM

I loved Sunrise ^^ it was fresh and bouncy. I don't really like comparing her summer songs as I love all of them.

waterballoon 11th November 2009 03:35 PM

Sunrise recently turned out to be noisy, especially the parts where her dancers were shouting "motto ookina ai wo!"... >.>" NEXT LEVEL was really nice imo.

But BLUE BIRD, July 1st & fairyland are still my favorite summer songs from her~

I kinda agree.
Sunrise is the perfect summer single, even Sunset but is pretty forgottable ( I was so disappointed after the long preview x_x in the drama were sounds more good).
And I completely agree with the bold part :thud

Spoiler:
But nothing compared to the perfection of INSPIRE imo :heart
lol

For me Sunset is better than Sunrise... I always prefer ballads/rock over popish and sumerish songs... but even that i like Sunrise more than glitter and other popish songs (not necessary summerish)

I agree, that part "motto ookina ai wo!" with her dancers kills the song even more x_x

nothing compared to July 1st, fairyland, BLUE BIRD, glitter and fated :luv2
these are REAL summer songs imo! *_*

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 11th November 2009 05:49 PM

lol, it's funny because i tend to detest her summer songs lol

Trust - A Best version owns
monochrome- hell yeah, i love it!
Far away- its good
unite! - blah
July 1st- its kinda... not fun
Greatful days- blah
INSPIRE- its great <3
Fairylad- its weird, kind of ballad-ish in a weird way, but good.
BLUE BIRD- A better version of July 1st
glitter- excuse me while i barf
Sunrise- its ok, but generic

Corvina 11th November 2009 06:05 PM

The only summer songs I love from Ayu are INSPIRE and BLUE BIRD. Nothing can beat them! :heart

How random... but they stuck the choruses she posted on her blog on the main website as an image file.

Kinda weird, lol. I'm beginning to think that the colors associated with this single will probably end up Memorial address-like.

I'm thinking A BALLADS if the colors of the lyrics that she has posted is the actual color used.

truehappiness 11th November 2009 06:56 PM

Memorial address and A BALLADS had very similar color palettes imo, though Memorial address' was a little more golden in some aspects. Who knows, really? I'm just hoping everything looks pretty in the end, lol.

A bit off-topic but... when you pre-order something before it says first press or external bonus, it will still give you the first press and external bonus unless it was sold out, right?

bluegie 11th November 2009 09:54 PM

^If you're talking about cdjapan, then yes. You will get the first press if it doesn't indicate "sold out" next to first press.
