I don't like the covers. Really sad to find out SEVEN DAYS WAR is a cover song, because that's an awesome title. So much ran through my head seeing that title (a second Free & Easy lol)... but nooo, it's a cover. Listened to the original, which is...eeh, but I think Ayu can make it a lot lot lot better.

Either way, glad I bought atleast one version because I'm in love with crossroad. I also was lucky, and the version I pre-ordered before covers is the one I dislike the least, yay!

How in the world she is also doing a "cover" song? Ugh - possinly only ONE new song from that single? You've got to be kidding me! Now we're really worried if this can become a bust and could fail Ayu's record-setting attempt...

Now we're really concerned about this...oh well. (I actually prefer miwa right now...)

That's what I am - and we are - really concerned about. But based on Kuu's sales outside of summer, I still believe that Ayu can get #1.

At least we don't have to worry about Arashi also - they're releasing a single two weeks before this single's release, and another the week after Ayu's 50th single releases! It's a good thing they're not forcing themselves to disrupt Ayu's 50th single operations...

The covers... Well, her outfit kicks ass? That's all the good I can say though, I really don't like her poses and expressions there. And as some people already mentioned, the text is placed a bit strangely, especially in the... first cover linked a few pages back? Maybe it was the CD+DVD? >.> Dunno, whatever.

SEVEN DAYS WAR is an awesome title. XD I like the song well enough (I'm gettin' huuuuge A song is born -vibes), and I think Ayu's version will be better, her voice is certainly more interesting than the original singer's imo. :) But I do hope the arrangement gets a little facelift, I think it could use it.

I really loved the daybreak covers. very retro and hippie looking. Also I'm confused, how are you comparing those two covers?

^Daybreak was the last "streak breaker" debuting at #2 although tbh it wasn't really a streak (I doubt avex and Ayu were even aware of it) so I dunno why people keep saying that.

What a waste of a cute dress. :( I'm still probably going to get the single because I need an "Orchestra version" of "blossom" in my life, but it's a little disheartening.

I am interested to hear what her cover of "SEVEN DAYS WAR" will sound like. I'm not a fan of the original, but it does sound like it'll fit her voice.

Daybreak was the single that lose the streak the last time. Kumi and Ayu singles are released the same day, hence the comparison.

oh i got it. I thought you were comparing the covers. I was thinking "they are nothing alike". I didn't know daybreak lost a streak. I thought it was a pretty good single. I guess the crowd thinks otherwise. or it could just have been bad timing. was daybreak released near the time of a different single?

Well she did say back with M/B that there would be a PV for blossom. Glad to see it.

Also, about Daybreak (and i may be wrong), but wasn't that single released after the "I am" album was already out?
