i actually can't tell if it's kuu or not, it could be her, as you said in her early times. and as love_shine already said it must be from a tv special or maybe from one of her auditions, if it is her because i can't remember that song too. but it sounds quite beautiful

someone mentioned on jpc that VIP was composed and written by Jessi J (the british singer) it's quite intressting because i realized a few days ago that both wear those hot tights in their musicvideos (kuuchan in VIP and Jessi J in like a dude)
but well probably it's just a coincidence...

Jessica Cornish is stated as one of the writers for V.I.P, yes. I guess Avex and Kuu just bought the song after hearing the demo like usually.
After all they love to use western written demos and songs for Kuu, at least for the upbeat songs.

I'm happy about Kuu being at that Japan-Vietnam festival. Another festival performance, those are mostly great, mixed with old and new songs! And she's there with AKB and Exile, that's great.

This will be such an interesting week for singles! So much popular artists. I'm really curious how Kuu will do.

I seriously love it when Kuu releases something, it's always very exciting to see how she does since she isn't like those who will surely get #1 spot.
