Mary Jane Holland is the weakest weve heard so far. She said that it almost didnt make the cut, but she kept it because fans were so excited about ti just for the title, the producer and the theme (like G.U.Y) I wonder which song would have been in its position... But I agree, it sounds very BTW, absolutely no evolution
Venus, on the other hand, takes me to the stars

I actually didn't think it was that weak. I can't but I think it MANiCURE was horrible, the chorus was just such a letdown. Artpop the songs chorus was also a bit watery. But MANiCURE is completely unlistenable to me did to the chorus. The melody is like something a cheer squad would sing or kids on a play ground.

I think ARTPOP is quite solid from what we've heard so far, it is easy to listen to but not as mainstream as what other pop artists are releasing.

Although, I do sense that she's becoming a bit desperate, as if she was going to commit suicide if ARTPOP doesn't set a new record or something. She's seriously becoming really crey on twitter, facebook and even her last performances of Venus and DWYW were a bit wtf-like.

I think she's having some problems with the label. Like for that performance, you can see that they prepared everything for Venus and Do What U Want looks totally out of place, but it had to be there 'cause it became the second single.

Anyways, I just hope we get a nice video for DWUW with her looking beautiful like in that commercial and also focus on promoting only this song for a while.

BTW is VERY likely that the album will be leaking this weekend, so get ready!

I just preordered my copy down at HMV. Actually I asked them to preorder the Deluxe Edition AND the Fan Pack Deluxe Edition. The Fan Pack one comes with a tshirt, but I don't know what it looks like yet though. I mentioned this concern to the guys working in the store and they said it's no big deal. They'd order in both and if I only want to take one of the two, they'll just put the other on the shelf after I drop in to pick mine up. :) :heart

While I sit here, completely unsurprised, I jam to Venus and its hotmessness.
Venus just so happens to be my second favourite planet, after Pluto (first if we actually listen to those space nerds about the proper definition of a planet)

I'll have to preorder it ASAP them. It'll probably be the only cd version that will have a chance at selling out quickly.

@Delicious_n_Bold I've been searching on the internet and HMV is the ONLY place I've found the Fan Pack listed, so I'm guessing that's a YES. Also there's 2 editions of the Fan Pack. One comes with a Girls Medium tshrit and the other with an ADULT Large tshirt.

it's SAMPLED. We all knew she was gonna use a sample even before the song came out since iTunes revealed the songwriting credits for all songs.
