NEWS to release their first DVD single

What an excuse!

I've heard this was done before for another Johnny's artist, and this concept has come to NEWS as well...

NEWS still wants to release a single, still wants a #1...but on that same day, HKT48 is going to release a new single, and that's why NEWS has gone with a 'DVD single' that would classify the single as a DVD and not a conventional single, just to stay #1 (because I think NEWS will only accept #1 and nothing lower)...

Any thoughts?

1 of the B-sides' titles in Yonjuushi hasn't been revealed yet

I love that NEWS is always playing around with different genres. Not just typical pop. This reminds me of a less ominous BYAKUYA.

Nikkei unveils their concert mobilisation power ranking for 2015

Every year popular magazine Nikkei Entertainment releases a series of Power Rankings which arrange musical artists and other celebrities according to varying different criteria such as familiarity or interest.

Keeping with tradition, the magazine's December issue contains its yearly survey on concert attendance in Japan, ranking acts based on the overall amount of people whom attended their performances over the course of the past year.

The 2015 ranking was topped by long-running pop/rock band Mr.Children, whose “REFLECTION” Arena Tour and “Mikan” Stadium Tour brought in a combined 1,119,000 concertgoers (according to overall venue capacity) over the course of 36 different dates.

Second and third place went to popular idol group ARASHI (1,035,000 attendees from 21 dates) and dance/vocal unit Sandaime J Soul Brothers (1,002,000 attendees from 21 dates) respectively.
