I just want the trio SHU-YA, SUBARU, and ZIN will always stay there. The rest can, well, I don't care lol.

I think it's not that his singing is bad but he sounds like that on purpose in order to fit his drag image?

Party_King 10th January 2014 03:57 AM

uhm' i don't need SHU-YA... and i think i'm the only one who say this... :D
i love SUBARU and ZIN... i'll miss GO-MI too... :(

PECO should make an ayu-comeback... i don't need TIMMY or MICCIE or that girl...
PECO and PRICESS... this was harmonic... now it's just $h!t... sorry...
TIMMY and PRINCESS doesn't fit... okay... both are a princess xD
don't misunderstand me... TIMMY did a great job on BRILLIANTE/how beautiful you are/Return Road... but that's all... :(

Chris85 10th January 2014 09:32 AM

Timmy and Princess sound very good together, they demonstrated it during long ballad-style interlude from the latest CDL. Adding male vocals to Ayu band was a really nice move.
I'm very pleased with current back-up singers and don't miss Peco at all. Moreover, I was glad to see Gomi and especially Maro leave, now it's Shuya's turn to leave. It's just the matter of taste, not hating here, I just have never liked them.
Although I can't say that I was happy to see Timmy wear his usual drag queen outfits at this CDL, I can accept it as long as he does his joob good.

I agree. Even my friends who has no any idea who ayu or timmy is says that part is really beautiful especially how well timmy's and yoko's voices blended.

that's what I meant, his voice is great but he uses it in a wrong way so to say, his image in general with both look and the way he sings is irritating by his own or Ayu's choice

Andrenekoi 10th January 2014 10:00 PM

I feel like punching people on the face when the "We miss Peco" thing starts... Before she left pretty much everyone acted like she was the inventor of cancer.

I guess it will be the same with Timmy...

SKYia 10th January 2014 10:36 PM

...only if Ayu actually finds someone (or turns someone) even worse.

IKR Everyone wanted Peco gone before she left and know everyone misses her. Watch Ayu replace Timmy with someone worse than him visually and sounds worse than Maro's singing and everyone will be missing Timmy.

maxikot 11th January 2014 12:39 AM

It's hard to deny that Peco wasn't a good backup singer and in tv versions of countdowns you could hear that. The thing she did have was personality, a very friendly, making you smile presence on the stage.
I don't agree Timmy has a great voice. He has decent one. But on the other hand his creation on stage is soooo offputting... that it covers his bright sides.

In the beginning of me being an Ayu fan and when i saw Peco i did *omg how can she be a back up singer* face. Then i got used to her and enjoyed her presence. I'm sure i won't miss Timmy. That is more than certain...

The funny thing is most of the time people complained Peco's voice didn't match Ayu's, it was because Ayu was failing the vocal harmony.

BlackSilence 11th January 2014 08:57 AM

i never really understood the disslike of Peco...i personally liked that team she had, i guess we just need to get used to the new one. Now if Enrique or Yo-chan had gotten replaced, i'd go ballistic! lol Also i would really not mind less Shu-ya everywhere. He can stay as a dancer since it kind of feels like he's looking after Ayu at one point, but give him less stage time. His solos are getting borring and repetetive aka useless flailing, that's how i see them lol

marty 11th January 2014 03:43 PM

Honestly, I feel like the only persone in the all Universe that never once had a problem with Ayu team. I liked them all? Of course not. But they always did a good job. Even the dancers, when boring, it's mostly because of the similar dance they have to performe sometimes, not their technique which is always very professional. They're all professionals, or so I think.
To not talk about Timmy, I love him so much (he gave me the next LOVE, and other brilliant things, and his voice is so nice, and he makes me laugh. But I wish Ayu would tone down his drag style a little, lol).

RealLight 11th January 2014 04:39 PM

I never had a problem with Ayu's band and her dancers, I feel like they were the perfect match for her, my only complaints were the overuse of Shu-ya and some choreographies, which looked very dumb sometimes. But now she decided to increase the family and that's what we have today. :innocent

waterballoon 11th January 2014 05:44 PM

some songs NEED the dancers, some performances have a better visual with dancers/theatrics (most M performances, BALLAD @ AT 10, HAPPY ENDING @ AT 05).

some have it ruined cos of dancers (No way to say @ A BEST LIVE)

and I can't stand Timmy only because he creeps me out on the stage.

bold. can't agree more :thud

hayasaki 13th January 2014 04:11 AM

I just realized that the bold & delciious' new version in this CDL sounds almost the same with Power of Music's. I was chatting with a fellow AHSer earlier and i mentioned how jazzy the new arrangement is. he the told me of POM's and i searched it on YT. :))

I don't think Ayu was failing...... :grumpy Peco's voice was too low pitched to be Ayu's chorist

Why wasn't this broadcast this year? First year ever to not appear on tv live?

Second one actually.
Last year CDL 2012-2013 only had a TV broadcast on WOWOW on January 2nd if I'm not mistaken.
