Hana, SAKURA and sotsugyou shashin. Actually I forgot about Hanabi, so 5... 6 with 'Zutto...'. lol XD

EDIT: 7 with kanariya! More than I thought, but still not that much if you think about her discography as a whole.

The song on A BALLADS is Graduation Picture (I can't write the pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ title)

orangeakira 7th November 2014 09:31 AM

Yeah she has 7 songs with Japanese titles

Hana
HANABI
HANABI ~episode II~
kanariya
SAKURA
Sotsugyo Shashin
and now "Zutto..."

Jees, 3 ballads? ;/ I hope there will be "rock ballad" on these at least... Or something like Will/Brillante/GREEN... 3 "wintery" ballads will be a noozfest. One power-epic like No way to say and 2 like Melody (i like Melody though, lol)... Naaah.

I like the titles though. And only Zutto sound "winter-ballady".

Im just hoping it won't be like
- Something like Pray with more instruments (tada-daaahm, dramatic strings)
- Pray pt 2
- Pray pt 3.

But as far as I know Ayu for a loooong time... It can be that way. Dayum.

Gustavopc 7th November 2014 11:51 AM

^ She's already stated there IS a rock ballad, also a a "TK-ballad" and a properly speaking winter balad

What does that even mean and what are its origins?

Tom Punks 7th November 2014 05:18 PM

^ The forum censored a shortened version of "Japanese" that can be taken as a racist slur. lol

Delicious n Bold 7th November 2014 05:31 PM

^ so is it like a forum construction?

Tom Punks 7th November 2014 05:33 PM

^ I'm not sure what you mean? The forum automatically censors that word. Try typing it and the preview the post. You'll see "prettypony~prettypony~prettypony~"

Delicious n Bold 7th November 2014 05:34 PM

^i meant that, was that pretty pony crap made on this forum?

TeamAyu2004 7th November 2014 05:37 PM

I thought it just stared it out? Unless pretty pony is a new thing?

Ayu-me 8th November 2014 11:40 PM

Yeah, I thought the word pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ is merely replaced by stars. Or is it?
EDIT: Oh damn, it actually does get replaced with the pony thing, colour me surprised!

adantatu2 9th November 2014 01:48 AM

It works, I didn't know it !!!

Delicious n Bold 9th November 2014 03:47 AM

Edit: it does work! omg..
So where did this pretty pony phrase originate?

freedreamer 9th November 2014 04:15 AM

She should have made it a 4A with Kazuhito Kikuchi's ballad HAHAHA (like SEASONS, HEAVEN)

I remember there being a thread and one user (maybe japanese? can't remember) pointed out that the term was offensive. So the mods decided to replace it with this pretty pony phrase, but I can't really remember if it was suggested by some user or if it was made up by them!

TeamAyu2004 9th November 2014 02:01 PM

the term itself is a cultural slur, many japanese people don't even realize this and use it to describe themselves which brings the point to if the cultural doesn't find it a slur then is it really a slur? But if some find it offensive then it is offensive to those people.
It came from WW2 when america was invading/attacking the Japanese imperial navy.

I would like to know where pretty pony came from though... lol.. its kinda specific you know?
