I literally yelped when I heard Haru yo, Koi! My poor sleeping baby got startled!

I was on the fence for an actual purchase, but she can take my money now!

I'm sad about this... no Walk either!

I did get all the must haves on my list plus Haru, so I won't complain too much.

I'm speechless a genuine suprise after all these years

finally a justice for 'Zutto...'! the song, the pv, and the CDL performance just beautiful. still mad when she switched to 'HAPPY ENDING' for the tour performance.

abt 'how beautiful you are', i don't hate the selection, coz the song is beautiful and the pv is meaningful. but seriously, Promised Land version are so over dramatic, would prefer the version where she 1st performed at CDL HLS.

if the album don't have time limit i would prefer 'SCAR' to make into the selection. the PCDL performance just make me totally fall in love to this ballad.

this! esp the only new song and its pv we already can get on Mar 12! just wondering the pv will she upload full to youtube, or let us purchase on iTunes like what she did for 'Zutto...' pv.

seriously i don't care abt remastered version, i only have normal ears, unless she did something like what she did for 'M' in A COMPLETE.

WHAT IN THE WORLD-
It was literally the most unexpected scenery possible.

And that gaze before she starts singing, as if she knew she was gonna blow her poor fans head off :laugh

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this! Haru yo, koi is one of my all time favourite J-Pop songs of all time and I still remember her performing it back then and now she finally gives us a recording. This is a great surprise! <3

That's lovely! For me it's totally new--I became an Ayu fan in 2006 when I saw her performing Bold and Delicious/Pride (Pride is actually still my favorite Ayu ballad) on TV, so I never got a chance to see the 2003 performance. Something new to look forward to. <3

OMG that was a surprise! I was so overwhelmed I started to cry and couldnt believe it! That really made my day, I am so happy!!! :luv2

I joined in 2007 but this song is like a ghost in the fandom lol I'm surprised you didn't know about it. Although seeing you only showed up on the forum a couple of years ago, makes sense why :D

Pride is great! I loved the entire single back then and I'm probably pretty much alone with this. :laugh You can watch the 2003 performance on youtube, though! Also, there should be a download of a better quality somewhere here at ahs, I guess. Oh and you should give the original a try, it's amazing! I hope you enjoy it as well as Ayu's versions. ♡

^Someone uploaded the high quality version on YouTube, too! :)

SunshineSlayer 7th March 2021 02:33 AM

lol, took long enough! That Haru yo Koi performance from Music Fair way back when was one of her best ever. Actually that entire episode -- all four performances were her best ever.

I wish, but it seems it has nothing to do with the public demand, it just made sense to cover one more song by the same artist she already covered for the first A Ballads album plus it was a song she already performed live, plus it was fitting for spring. Lucky coincidence for us.

I remember A Song is born was pretty bad, out of her range and she struggled a lot. Haven't watched it in years though.

Andrenekoi 7th March 2021 03:55 AM

^There most likely is a demand, even if just from her fanbase, considering the way the cover was promoted so far.

It's also a song that fits her way more now than it did back in 2003. There's a sense of maturity on it Ayu obviously didn't had during the A Ballads promotion.

So agreed!

KPL 7th March 2021 04:20 AM

Plus, given the pandemic and all the sorrow the world has been having, the message of the song is so perfect. Let the spring come!

AJFmzk 7th March 2021 04:43 AM

Wow, what a great surprise, it fits the theme and the form of original A Ballads. I hope there are more videos on the second dvd though...otherwise it’s a very expensive bonus. It seems like all the rare performance songs are also getting non rare live video Clips on the first dvd. 春よ、来い video clip is only on the rare dvd.
