But if they are two different hikki then that's cool and explains a lot. Did she say whether her new music will be made under UTADA and the same production company/team as Exodus? or is she starting from the bottom up?

I just hope she still infuses her typical flare to her music in America, and doesn't completely sell out is all

Hikki tends to separate into different music and genres all the time. Hence all the distinct differences between her "old music" and "new music"

I never saw Utada as being different than Hikki just as being a different side of an artist in a genre undefined and experimental. Kinda like how Ultra Blue was so completely off the wall compared to her older works and Exodus.
