ugh it's so frustrating there aren't any previews. i remember the panasonic/other CM's would be out like 2 months before the single so we got previews way early, then i'd listen to the preview over and over and get all excited. i miss that :(

I always try and refrain from listening to the previews too much because then I'm tired of the song 3 weeks after the release and drooling for another. Ha ha.

That's why I do not allow myself to listen to previews, leaks, and PVs from an upcoming album, since albums only come once a year. Heck, I turn off all the images so I can't spoil the cover shot before I get it for Christmas or before the album release. Lol.

Talk about dedicated to avoiding new material for the sake of enjoyment, LOL.

I have a friend who didn't pay attention to any of the NEXT LEVEL singles and he loved NEXT LEVEL.. hm.

Lol, well when (miss)understood was released, I spoiled myself with all the previews for each song and saw the covers and PVs. When I got the album for Christmas, it really didn't seem as enjoyable or keep me as interested as MY STORY did. MY STORY had so many songs and I only allowed myself to download and listen to one song from the album before I got it - it was Humming 7/4. Lol. But I actually liked it!

I forgot to mention that I do not even allow myself to see the song titles or tracklistings either. Lol.

I remember there have been a few occasions where I restrained myself and refused to listen to any previews, and then just listening to the whole album when it came out. There was much more excitement to it, and from what I remember, I wasn't as disappointed when I wasn't big on a song. I think I'll avoid previews for the next few releases of my favourite singers. 'Cause I remember that when I heard Rule, for example, even though I love that song, it doesn't have the same excitement attached to it like others do, whenever I didn't hear the preview first. Funny how that works, hah...

See, I was paying attention to NEXT LEVEL a lot more than any previous albums, and I loooove the album! I didn't feel disappointed or didn't enjoy it because I'd already listened to the previews or songs when they leaked...

That's what happened for me. The previews just got me more excited, and when I listened to the album in full it was still very satisfying.

With Ayu, I'm generally immune when it comes to new releases, so I can play releases up to a thousand times and still love them just as much as I did when they first came out.

even now... i'd rather listen to the cm chorus bit on repeat then the actual thing LOL

but ya, the only thing i hate are lq previews ugh. temptation is a motherf... but i looove hearing the whole song in good quality when it comes out.

I didn't like a lot of the songs from NEXT LEVEL until I saw them in concert. I used to really, really love identity, but after seeing rollin' and other songs in concert, I grew to love those even more, haha.

I overplayed the LQ's for Sunrise and Sunset and now I can't really listen to those songs. Sometimes that happens - if I overplay a song, I'll quickly get tired of it. Sometimes, I can't help but listen to the song for days and I'll still love it.

I'm glad we haven't gotten the preview for any of the songs yet. I'm afraid I'll love them and overplay them and get tired of them before she does any of the promotion. Hah.

This time I wanna try to only listen to the 30sec preview from cm's... See the covers and nothing more. No fan made pics from the inside, little previews they put for download nor pv's already aired before I get the single!

I wanna know how it feels, if this way i'll appreciate it more... Though I know I love the them on matter how many times I play the previews!

^I did that for Days. I only listend once at the first refrain from a CM then nothing more. Maaan it was hard not to try to listen more. Everyone kept talking about everything. But when I heard the song itself the first time with verse, bridge and chours it was like magic. I still love Days so much. Its an amazing song!

I really don't want to spoil the release for myself, but I'm getting excited to see more covers, off-shots or for a preview.

Although when Sunrise came out in preview I thought it was great...only for the HQ version to not satisfy me at all :( I'm going to try and stave off from downloading the songs or watching the PVs but it's going to be hard with all the hype here! Three full threads and no covers yet? lol

I almost did that for NEXT LEVEL... xD I listened only one preview of each song, and they were really bad quality... I was on a trip in Paris and I couldn't resist visiting AHS and... tada! all album leaked!! i couldn't wait to return to spain and get my copy -____-
