I'm a bit confused now.....
So the box set comes with a photobook, right??
Does CD+DVD also has a photobook and if so is it the same as the one in the box set??

To flip things around:
Quote:

i think people disliking people who dislike the title have a legitimate reason to say something to them.

they can say whatever they want about them and shouldn't be crucified, nor should they have to justify their reasons for disliking them to make others happy.
(IMO, most of the time, this sort of thing can go for both sides and it just goes in ciiiiiiiiiirccclees.)

You're free to feel how you like about the title, but it's something you'll have to live with for the rest of Ayu's career, unfortunately for those who don't like it. I guess it's just a bit strange that there's such a huge backlash against it because it sounds so tacky (which it does)... I'll have to admit that when I saw that the tour was titled ~Rock'n'Roll Circus~ I did a bit of a double take and was like this at my computer for a minute or two trying to process the title:
http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/2938/1237891742569.jpg

However, I eventually got over that huge "What the heck?" feeling, haha.

Voicing dissatisfaction is normal when things aren't simple/as you'd expect them to be (Bold&Delicious, (miss)understood, Rule/Sparkle and Sunrise/Sunset's covers...) but I think eventually fans just get used to them, or they accept that it's the title and move on. Of course, there are always those who bring up the titles of yesteryear that they hated ("HAHAH REMEMBER THAT TITLE? STEP YOU? OH GOD TERRIBLE. AND (MISS)UNDERSTOOD/BOLD&DELICIOUS? TACKIEST. THING. EVER. Why did she even bother?!" and so on) but I don't think people really pay attention to those people anyway, haha. It'll be interesting to see how reaction ends up to this album as a whole (covers, PVs, music, etc.) and if the title is the only thing that people end up being able to criticize. (and the inclusion of Sunset for some people...) At the end of the day, a year from now, or five years down the line, will people really be saying "Ew, that album had such a bad title?" I think not, because for the most part, the beating that (miss)understood undertook after being titled in such a way is only a distant memory about 5 years later, and people just remember how fantastic they feel the album is.

Quote:

i think the title is embarrassing and try-hard, especially for someone her age. it just sounds desperate.
This is the exact sort of thing that popped up when (miss)understood was announced. It was tacky, desperate, trying too hard to sound clever, and was just... "Blah" and no one really cares, haha. I fail to see how Rock'n'Roll Circus sounds desperate, as imo, a title that sounds desperate would sound something more like "MY BEST ALBUM", "ELEVEN" or "SONGS FROM MY MIND" or something. I think people are possibly just overreacting to the title because it's really not all that bad. (Sunrise/Sunset's covers.. those were terribad.) The title might be not all that great to you now, but I feel as though if the album is as great as it's looking to be, the title won't really matter in the end. (But if the album ends up terrible to fans, I don't know what'll happen. "The circus is a rocking and rolling laughingstock!" or something...)

If you read the first post, you would know that the CD+DVD in the box set is a first press version which includes a photobook.

It should come with both the Box Set and just the CD + DVD, since it is that version of the album that's being included with the Box Set. :)

That was a long post :D

I could summarize it this way

YOU CAN HATE IT AND POST YOUR HATRED ON THIS THREAD OR WHERE EVER YOU WANT.
BUT GET OVER IT. IT'S A FRIGGIN TITLE!

If you really can't stand the title when you get your copy... Scan the cover edit the title out put whatever title you want then use it or when you download it change the title to whatever you want.

And sure we get that you hate the title but common posting more than one comment on how you hate it is a bit desperate don't you agree?

-------------------------------

I don't want to open a thread and see stupid comments on how you hate the title.
make a thread about how much you hate it heck I'll even make one for you

Here's the thread just for you people ---> http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showth...66#post2267866

This thread is about the album information like for people asking question.
Don't flood it with hate comments.

AND YES I'M BORED

On the other hand, I think it would have been really cool and ominous if she named it ELEVEN. ahaha.

Cherry Dynamite 7th March 2010 03:04 PM

Oh lol as much as I hate to admit that sounds rather cool.

that's exactly it. it's not about copyright issue, it's just because of profitability.

I think it looks nifty, haha. But it's definitely what I expected it to look like. There will probably be some sort of design on the front.

This pic is from an online shop?
It looks cool, so we can be nearly sure now the versions are the same as buying them seperate.
I so canīt wait for the box Cover+design *_*

I think the Limited Box Edition will probably be least profitable out of all.

i'll be the 1st one to buy if the limited box edition has OS press.

Cherry Dynamite 7th March 2010 03:58 PM

I think it'll sell fairly well considering that the OS press is cheaper and the price will probably be cut at least half it's a good bargain for fans.

L M A O!!!!

Amen to this, its only a title of a cd.

njanjayrp 7th March 2010 04:06 PM

The limited edition box as the only version in HK would be a fail cuz of the following reasons 1) The majority of people who are going to get it are hard core fans 2) The casual listeners who would like to buy the album would be forced to pay almost 3x the price of an album and might not even want the tour, so they most likely won't buy it at all. In other words we can place our bets on CD+DVD being released for sure.

^ If they'll release the Limited Box Set I can see it costing around 45-60 bucks.
OS Press are generally much cheaper so the price won't be much of a problem.

I'm quite sure they won't release it.

Well if they're going to release it I'm quite sure they'll also release it as a limited offer probably like 1-5 thousand copies.
and I'm quite sure they won't release it as the only version.

But yeah it's quite safe to say we won't get it.

Bad Wolf 7th March 2010 04:18 PM

"Rock'n'Roll Circus" is no worse than "I am... Sasha Fierce," "The Fame Monster" and whatever album titles Madonna's had for her last 3 releases.

Oh, and "How to use Sexy" takes the cheese cake (mmmm...).

Enjoy my two cents, as it took me all of two minutes to make this post \o/

I hate being too poor to afford limited edition things.

this. this. and this. guess it can't be any worse than an engrish title like "Do you dreams come true?"

ExodusUK 7th March 2010 04:24 PM

I swear Ayu has the weirdest bipolar fanbase I have ever came across.

aura~ 7th March 2010 05:00 PM

it's posible that someone doesn't buy the CD because of the title?? I think no one would do that, right? because I think it would be stupid...

it's only a title... again title/cover are only a plus of the album... it's the music and PV what are important...

I don't see normal to already hate the album or have a negative feeling about it only because of the title...
