You won't be dissapointed!

The ballad sections in those concerts are probably the best ballad sections kuu had :love

A lot of great ballads!

I love the entertaining parts too but anyway yeah I think that overall those concerts are kuu's best to this day!

They are really energetic, kuu's voice was at its best and the entertaining parts were the coolest though since the first things tour and secret were in halls they were less fancy and all around kuu's style so you might like them. ^^

I hope she'll release a 4 a-side summer single in June/July. DH2 is my current jamjam for now :heart

aww it sounded probable to me. xD
and 4 a-side FTW!!!!

i love how she's had a 4 elements single at least once a year.
2005(or was it 2004?) - LOVE&HONEY
2006 - 4 hot wave
2007 - FREAKY
2008 - MOON
2009 - 3 SPLASH (it was a 3 sided single but i think all those remixes are just as good as an extra track xD)

hope she has one this year! :P

maze 6th April 2010 11:16 PM

^ yeah, that's why I always want summer singles from her xD they're so amazing! <3

oh i adore her voice and i think they're always great, especially her ballads :yes but i have a HUGE soft spot for her secret vocals. i think she sounded really... how to describe it... just so raw and amazing!

i think now though, she has more control of her voice and i also love that. like look at the difference of how she does the "tsudzuke ruuuuuuuuu" 's in walk in the secret & first things live and then how she does them now in TRICK & Kingdom :love much more soft and melodic whereas before she just yelled them!

yes, unlike other artists, i feel like kuu is gaining more control of her range and sounds a lot better than she did in the past.

also BEAUTIFUL AVATAR! i love leona

Her recent tours though weren't as good as the older ones.

please remember that this is a matter of opinion and don't let it affect your choice of what to watch. imo, trick tour smashes kingdom and first things. secret tour is great, trick is great, and kuu in taiwan is very emotional for many reasons.

you can't go wrong with any tour though.

Lee^ChaN 6th April 2010 11:56 PM

@strawbari: i think you just need to watch all of them :laugh
I love them all :lech
It's rare to find her singing out of tune.. that's one of the reasons why i love this girl so much!

ah.. it's gettin' lameee... i need newssss!!! :( :( :(

It wouldn't be summer without a new single from KUMI :yes Her last two summer singles weren't exactly my favorite...but I'm still looking forward to her next one. It doesn't even have to be a triple a-side 4 elements or w/e. One amazing a-side/pv and 1 or 2 great b-sides, like the Butterfly single :luv2

I actually think that kuu has hit or miss vocals these days.
Sometimes her vocals sound tired and she can't stay on high notes too long (like that greatness she did with you on ~second session~ tour).

Overall though I don't think that TRICK was that awesome of a live.
It was definitely better than Kingdom tour which is kuu's worst tour.
On TRICK though I liked mainly the beginning (until SHAKE IT was over), This is not a love song and the medley at the encore.

On Live Tour ~first things~ the setlist was really good, it really seems kuu was deep into the show and on the secret limited tour she was just rocking the show on with great vocals.
Those tours and and Black Cherry tour had the most emotional up beat and ballad moments imo.

♥Rain 7th April 2010 12:24 AM

^ her hit & miss vocals i think, for me, are applied only to her upbeat songs. or hashire & hurry up which the latter was quite bad in TRICK :headache. her ballads on the other hand have never failed and always impress me

Yeah agree with you!

Her vocals are mainly hit or miss on up beat songs, sometimes it seems like she struggles to sing well while dancing (probably why she uses a lot of back tracks with up-beat songs) on ballads she does way better though sometimes she still struggle to reach higher notes and is breathy, though that' doesn't happen to her too often with ballads.

.

I agree. I was watching it over the day and I noticed how 'not that great' it was. Especially in the beginning, it seemed very blahzay and lacking of energy plus the song selection was kind of bad. But I really enjoyed everything after that, especially the feathered hat part.

waterballoon 7th April 2010 05:34 AM

I honestly can't wait for the UNIVERSE tour to start... it's gonna be so epic I know lol

maze 7th April 2010 07:31 AM

yeah Kingdom Tour got the best ballad section :heart and yay waterballoon, me too, I can't wait for the UNIVERSE tour, especially for the setlist *O* I hope she'll perform all the songs from UNIVERSE except It's all Love! lol. I want another performance of Moon Crying (Live ver.) like the one at Taiwan Live :3
