The BRILLANTE PV already looks interesting from the screenshots.

From the previews I can already tell that "progress" will probably be my fave new song.

I don't really feel comfortable with everyone hyping BRILLANTE. I am keeping my expectations as a blank sheet of paper. I don't want to be let down as I was with the entire R'n'R album (minus Microphone).

I'm agree with you, RnR is, to me, one of her best albums ever (if not the BEST), but I think that no one have to impose their views, 'cause nobody have the absolute truth.

If he doesn't like it it's ok, you probably hate another album that he adores.

Well, I tried to be funny. And that's why I added the blinky-smiley after my sentence so it would come forward that I wasn't forcing someone to think the same as me. I know ppl think different and I really love the fact that everyone don't think the same. So... I really didn't mean any harm.

This will sound weird, but I always like it when someone says to me "Oh, but I really like _____!" It leads to me relistening to that song and usually finding the magic that other people hear, listening to it in a different way :) It's the beauty of having a lot of people's opinions easily around.

For example, when Days was released I listened to it once or twice and thought, it was a pretty song, but nothing particularly special. Looking around AHS the next week, I remember members raving about it! Of course, it's all opinion, but I always feel Ayu is happy if at least one person loves a song she creates. That, and she always seems to do it her own way, whilst acknowledging it's not what all her fans want from her. Addressing both positive and negative opinions maturely is probably one of the reasons she's still around and is still such an influencing figure in J-Pop.

It's mostly because other than the screenshots, BRILLANTE is relatively mysterious. I wonder what it'll end up sounding like. I don't think anyone is hyping it necessarily, but everyone wants to know more as soon as possible since we've basically heard a bit of everything else so far.

Same thing with Sexy little things for me (and Lady Dynamite for that matter). The PV screenshots were SO PROMISING and then the music came out and I was like "you have got to be kidding me..." I learned a valuable lesson during that release and since then, I never put expectations on releases.

:) I prefer Ayu don't release anything at all until the actual release date...until then we all got tortured by the waiting...but in the end, we will be very satisfied when we get the CD~~ :)
