If Namie & Koda can do the english song, then Ayu can do it too. LOL

They dropped koda's english song though because they thought her accent was still to noticeable for the english version of FFX-2. The english version never officially got released by square-enix. Koda's english songs only appeared on her own single for real Emotion / 1000 Words

Okay, so far the Tokyo Game show thing was today in Japan... and it looks like the song was not featured in the new video... (unless they plan on adding something else a little later)



But, the game looks good.

TGS isn't until the 20th, which is today (it's 2 am on the 20th right now lol) so if anything won't it be later today if anything is posted?

^ Maybe that was from the preweek? I just found the article and it said it was grom the Tokyo game show...

Me too. I was a little disappointed that this didn't have it, but Im hoping it was just something extra they decided to show!

I don't think that the trailer is all they're going to show. Sometimes the more exclusive stuff isn't revealed until -after- or during TGS. Remember when the opening was shown at Tales of Festival? It was never posted online until the game actually came out.

I don't know if it'll actually be at TGS since we know the song was done at the time of the announcement but if it's going to be shown, it's probably going to be alongside the anime OP and not in a trailer.

Okay, 05/28/11 was when progress was announced (and the OP was shown). The day after is when we got a trailer with the song snippet. I kinda wonder if it's more avex that's not letting them put the song into their trailers and such. Whatever the case is, they're very much cutting it close since I think last year, we knew of the song about 3 months before the game came out while for this... we have less than two months to go!

I'm hoping for a single... I dont know why avex would want to wait? Unless they themselves haven't decided how they want to handle it?

I think FIVE did so well because it had progress on it, so they might be planning anther mini...
I think older artist (ones that have been around for awhile) They usually stop with the amount of singles and do mini's and full length albums a lot.

It's not so much that avex wants to 'wait' but that they have those 'information bans' where they don't ever release new information or songs until a certain date.

Anyway, at this point, they have just finished introducing all of the characters (I think) that will be in the game so a trailer that involves the song is likely to come soon even if it's not at TGS.

I still cant wait for it.
This game does look pretty amazing... I just hope it wasn't rushed and filled with bugs and holes like Tales of Graces was when it first came out.

The "tales of" TGS event isn't till sunday, you can freak out then if you don't hear the song.

I don't really know how they're timing information at the moment since they have basically shown most aspects of ToX2 to us (save for Ayu's song) but it seems like any day/week now is when we'll get a single or mini-album announcement and then the trailers will come out with the BGM. Was FIVE announced a little after progress' initial announcement in May 2011?

While some of Namie's English songs sound nice, the only song Ku's done in English that's close to decent is real Emotion. The rest sound laughable at best. And if that's how Ayu would sound then she shouldn't do it.

So the game is out on 1st November hmm??? Means something is coming up within these 6 weeks!!!
