But apparently, noticing something like a dead ass expression in an ayu photo is just so incredibly ridiculous, we can't even talk about it without people getting their panties in a bunch, let alone laugh it off and be positive about it.


Anyways, idk if I said this already, but I think most people love the photo, and it's just one or two things that bug them...which imo is natural considering what it looks like.

I don't feel like there's THAT much negativity towards it at all, but maybe that's just me.

If you can't see those long pointy claws on the end of her fingers, you need an eye check. :p They're extremely obvious.

I can't notice how will be their final effect on the photo... But maybe it's just me believing the overall result is more important than the indivudual parts on a poor quality photo. =)

But I honestly agree with Adrenekoi, some of the people here are overanalysing the crappy 200x200 px low quality picture and reviewing it like it's a hq one... I mean like, people cringe when they see a not so clear expression on ayu's face.... Maybe it looks a lot different in UHQ. Like when Party Queen's preview covers showed up, everyone was *****ing like "OMG ***** EWW WTF WHAT A SRUT" and when they saw the covers in detail a lot of them ended up loving it. Maybe there is a reason why she has 'an emotionless face". I'm just saying that people judge too early, but thats just my opinion. We need a HQ picture...

And if I'm wrong, or fail to see that this picture is terrible (IN YOUR OPINION) than I want to go get my eyes checked with the same person(s) who made the comment (and people supporting that comment) about ayu looking like a dead fish. Who knows, maybe we get the second pair of glasses for free?

And...the PQ covers are still controversial among the fans. People just don't talk about it as much anymore cause they're old news lol Certainly a lot more controversial than this photo where people just don't like her expression.

@emi It goes beyond a simple picture. Look at the way fans react to things they don't like about what Kuu does and the things they don't like about what ayu does. You have to admit the negatively towards ayu far exceeds that toward kumi. I'm not saying every fan of both ladies are harder on ayu. But kuu fans are much more likely to take it easier on her for the same or similar things that ayu does. Nobody has to like anything they don't want to like for the sake of it being ayu. But why does she get shat on for almost every little thing while other artists get a pass? I'm not trying to call kuu fans out. In fact, I WISH ayu fans were more like kuu fans. It would be a blessing to be honest.

@jbrat: I think we had a discussion once, not you and me, just people, about how people take Ayu a lot more seriously than other artists, and surely, a lot more seriously than an artist like the koda.

I mean, I love my koda. But she certainly does things that paint her in a certain light, and I think we're just used to it.

Example: she just posted some new pictures of herself looking like a crazy mess lol I could imagine Ayu fans being totally up in arms if Ayu came out looking like that. But koda? meh. She looks like that a lot lol

People just hold Ayu to a different standard.

I understand people hold ayu to a different standard than everyone else, but if she decides to go toward a "lower" standard does she have to be constantly punished for a bar she set years ago? I like that ayu does her own thing. If I like it, I like it. If I don't, I get over it. They way people overreact over something they don't agree with makes me worry about their blood pressure lol.

well, I think that's something we've seen the fandom struggling with for quite a long time...probably even before we were here. I think some people struggle with that in general though when they're following artists.

And yeah...I mean, like the whole summer best thread...and how people reacted to the best...I find that crazy. Some people were really upset about it :tired

That's the toll constant negativity can have on some fans. Any little sly remark is taken way out of proportion lol. As for this picture, she does look a little weird to me. But nothing I'm not use to by now. Wish the shoot was more like her ViVi Diary collection book. That photoshoot was the epitome of perfection lol.
