Anyway, the only thing that's pissed me off about A ONE so far is that when she FINALLY decides to rerecord something, it's a song that's only 2 years old :/ But that's only a minor complaint. I've never seen Ayu this excited about a release. Hopefully that's a good sign... but then she was excited about the first Feel the love PV (I think) and look how that turned out lol

It's possible, but not likely. Remember they gave alterna a different mix on (miss)understood (although I actually prefer the single mix).

I wonder if Ayu's been reading AHS. many here have expressed how we want a HQ version of Tell all. not to mention how we've all been talking so much shit about her poor mixing. and a lot of her recent statements ("I've lost sight of who I am as an artist...") seem to echo a lot of what we've been saying here since the release of Colours.

this might be end of my ayu CD purchasing habit. i use to collect all of the versions but these prices are ridiculous :no Colours was okay to have extra expensive one but now every CD? really? not my cup of tea anymore

I understand. As Tom Punks said, some of us still enjoy Western music. I gave up on Ayu after Party Queen and wasn't revived in my interest until it was announced she was working with m-flo. It was a nice change of pace for Ayu to finally work with different producers cause I was getting a little bored of tasuku (or whatever his name is) and Yuta Nakano working on every single song. The likes of Armin van Buuren, DAISHI DANCE, Freddie Le Grand, etc. were needed to spice up Ayu's music. I immediately pre-ordered Colours without even bothering listening to a preview cause I already knew this album would be better than what she's been attempting to shit out.

Granted, I still ended up loving Party Queen and somewhat enjoying LOVE again. But because she stuck to the same formula for LOVE again, that album became a CHORE to listen to. So it was just nice to see Ayu change the scenery for an album finally after how many years? Also, you can't compare Colours to her other masterpieces (MY STORY especially) Colours was simply a fun album to listen to. It wasn't meant to challenge our minds. Ayu was just having fun and sharing the fun with us.

Zutto... and Walk did nothing for me. But I really enjoyed the emotion in Last minute. I have no memory of Tell all, I must have thought it was unmemorable; considering Pray was released shortly after and I enjoyed that song MUCH more. I'll probably end up pre-ordering the CD only version since I want my Ayu collection to be complete, lol. Excuse the long ass rant.

Here's the thing. I don't mind western music completely. I have certain songs I love, but as was mentioned, there's SO MUCH saturation in that department, that even most american artists fail to impress. So I definitely don't need my Jpop artists "attempting" to emulate that style. It's even less likely they will deliver something substantial. Lelio was the exception. Bitch got that right.

Regarding Ayu reading this forum, I do find it a bit ridiculous when people suggest that as a possibility. Lol, you really think she has time to google what foreigners are saying about her and set a course of action to rectify what the minority is saying about her?

Sometimes it could feel like she's reading AHS or something but I think that if they made a new version of Tell All then probably a lot of japanese fans wanted it or just liked the song and gave her feedbacks on Team ayu about it.

I'm too stopping all my collection purchases too. The current management team gives me a very bad impress. It seems like they only want to suck money out of fans (esp hardcore fans) by coming out with these so called "exclusive" stuffs for TA member. But look at Zutto... even after complaining to ayu, the stream is nowhere to be seen and the making of will be included in the new album. TA video updates are even slower than youtube making of. Wth is this membership? Even the cover art of TA version sux. Just change the angle or posture and tadah~ new version for extra money. No effort seems to be taken in making at all. So I've decided to stop all purchases for ayu's discography until they buck up.
