Considering venue sales, A One most likely already outsold Colours...

Wasn't Colours also sold at concert venue?

Also A ONE didn't even charted in Korea as Colours did

Premium Showcase lasted for 8 days, Cirque de Minuit for 20... The public of the later that had the oportunity to buy the album was far longer.

A ONE did unbelievably well, but it was also such a good record among a pool of generally bad prior releases. It reached 12 weeks on the charts compared to Colours' 9 weeks, and it sold maybe 2k less. I'm so proud of Ayu for this record. She really didn't let us down.

I was going to ask exactly about weeks in charts hahahaha It's really awesome that A ONE managed to have a longer life :) Hope this build up for good sales for sixxxxxx as well, she seems to be in the right way

i think the most positive thing of all this is that people dont have those exxagurated different opinions about ayus music. so much pressure for ayu and so much criticism for her in the last 2 3 years . i like it very much that the community feels pleasured about the a one era

melissalove 2nd July 2015 05:20 PM

^how the mighty have fallen is basically all ive heard over the recent years. Thank god things are turning around for the better.

Such a tragedy it didn't sell 400 copies in South Korea...

Aderianu 3rd July 2015 08:14 AM

^that is 0,8% of total sales!!

I think at the venues Colours sold less than A ONE
Premium showcase had 11 concerts, Cirque de minuit - 22

^^ Selling in Korea is not important... She doesn't promote here. Almost nobody knows her nowadays (speaking about young people). Korea is all about digital, and the sales are sad now. Usually, a comeback song had more than 1.000.000 downloands, now artists barely can reach it...
Korean artist go to Japan for make some money (they are poor haha jk), don't give importance to a simply market about digital and idols...

Girls' Generation released a korean album including Boys & Girls how it comes that nobody knows ayu then?

Gustavopc 6th July 2015 05:27 PM

ayu in the Korean market does not make any sense rofl I don't even see how this could be discussed as a bad thing for A ONE

Andrenekoi 6th July 2015 05:47 PM

Ayu never got really big in Korea, to the point that her asian tours didn't even go there. Namie at her lowest point did tour Korea.

SNSD'S Boys & Girls is not ayu's song o.o I don't understand what you mean, but Ayu is not well known in Korea because they don't care about J-Pop. If possible that people who knows her is because she was the most famous soloist in Asia. Ayu's Asia Tour didn't include Korea too...

If they don't care about J-pop why SNSD themselves released the album "Sweet Memories with Girls' Generation" featuring Ayu's Boys & Girls personally picked by Yoona ;)

Gustavopc 6th July 2015 08:04 PM

^ Seriously, what is the point you're trying to make? A ONE flopped in a shitty market? Oh well life goes on, and so will this thread hopefully

Uknow! 6th July 2015 09:04 PM

Cause Yoona like Ayu and her song Boys & Girls hahahaha It's all. Big Bang and TVXQ love Ayu too. Big Bang and 2NE1 is a big fan of Kuu. Don't compare 5/6 idols who have promoted in Japan with all koreans.

Please educate yourself before making false statements, Sweet Memories was released in 2008, SNSD debuted in Japan in 2010, so Yoona knew Ayu before debuting in Japan and that's because Jpop before 2005 was even bigger than Kpop in S.Korea :eviltongu

Dear don't let the word "flop" come out of your mouth when you're a fan of Koda Kumi

Uknow! 6th July 2015 10:46 PM

^ Why are you being so rude? I'm into Kpop since 2009, I knew that fact and I saw the video you are talking...

And you need to say bad things about Kuu? Please educate yourself. Learn first to be a good person and give your opinion without being rude...
