I always loved her performance of Haru yo, Koi! I can't wait to hear the official recording of it!

I think there will be some negative press and push back at her singing haruyo koi, so that is unfortunate. But I am happy by what she’s written in her TA entry. I hope she means it! :)

The difference between A BEST/LOVEppears and their 15th Anni versions is huge tho . it's so much cleaner, even for "normal" ears.

Basically, moved on learning about Ayu news from her instagram straight, and I was screaming when she started singing the chorus of Haru Yo Koi!!!! This cover means a lot to me, and I'm so happy that we finally get a studio version + gorgeous PV!!! for this masterpiece. 18 years worth the fandom!

Last week I was reaching a max. point, and literally wanted to stay sad in bed forever. This little teaser made my day, and I am looking forward to the release. Ayu still got it, her music still puts a smile on my face and soothes the dark days. I'm probably being a little over the top here, but really... I'm over the moon about this, and it feels so great!


I'm surprised she didn't include lots of songs from LOVE again. I was really sure this release was gonna be LOVE again part 3.0, but I'm glad to see variety. Sucks that there's no Sweet Scar though. Hopefully, she will do this one justice in the future. I would kill for a live performance.

Honestly, I'm still unable to propely put my emotions into words. The level of excitement that I'm currently experiencing is INSANE! I'm just so happy and thankful to Ayu for doing this. To me, this feels like such a major moment and to be able to live through the hype of anticipating this song, etc. is truly awesome! I've "missed" the majority of her releases, so that whenever she does release something these days, I'm already happy just to be there. It's nice to have become a fan when most of her catalogue was already there but I often go "ah, I wish I was there for xyz" so to be "a part of the hype" is really cool. :)

Ohia no Ki and Dreamed a Dream were also very exciting, since I enjoy both a lot and Ayu performed them during concerts, on TV and even released PVs for both.
But Haru Yo, Koi is on a whole different level. Just like others, I've always wanted her to do a studio version of it, so for us to finally get it with such a good PV feels like a dream. :heart

She did not perform A Song is Born on Music Fair.

There's a live performance of it that i actually love to bits, doesn't sound anything out of her range to me O_O


BTW, why would she get the heat for performing Haru yo koi? I'm confused...

I'm also very excited to hear Haru Yo Koi in studio form. Hope the arrangements will be qualitative.

Still it won't make me buy A BALLADS 2 though.

The selection of songs is pretty good. Of course I wish some leftovers would have made it :
Sweet scar as a lot of you said (really that song deserves so much more, it's LOVE again gem and one of her best ballads), HAPPY ENDING, Virgin Road to name a few...

Sweet scar is def underrated. It's such a simplistic, bittersweet, soothing ballad. One of my favourites on that album.
