^Didn't she post that at TA first? I think if she has big news she would make a blog entry first in japanese, instead of an english tweet directed at the world.

Edit: Checked the TA archive and she announced it on TA not on twitter. Same with divorce, Ear Issue and Tomoya-breakup. That was pre-twitter era but I think it is save to assume that the real important news will arrive from that source.

And regarding the dating thing, I assume what saigodansu meant is that Mannie and she posted pictures and tweeted each other a lot before officially saying they were dating. But "announced" is a too strong word for what they did.
Generally I think she is dropping hints to things on twitter, but any clear official statments will always be made at TA.

It might be about new music, since the song for Tales of Xilia 2 must be ready.

I really hope Ayu's tweet has nothing to do with all of these negative ideas people have come up with... :( I would be devastated if she retired. I think she would be too. She's said many times how music is her life and she can't imagine her life without it.

And can someone clear something up for me in regards to her hearing loss? I thought she did, indeed, have a hearing loss syndrome in one ear for which there is no treatment or much hope of recovery, and a few years back, there was a news article claiming she was miraculously cured because she could "hear the audiences cheers" since they were cheering so loudly for her. But, in reality, her hearing problem hadn't magically cured itself, Ayu was just comparing the enthusiasm of the audiences support for her being so great, that she could hear them even though her hearing is going bad in that one ear? When did she say that "Mirrorcle World" was a direct response to her hearing problem being magically cured? I must have totally missed this... :thud

I just wanna grab Ayu by the shoulders and shake the news outta her. Tell us, woman!
