That's quite disappointing. I totally understand why she mimed in PCDL 08/09 but I thought this was something she was trying not to do going forward.

Some of the tracks don't really allow Ayu to sing them properly imo. She probably did it for the more electronic tracks and not for NOW & 4EVA, Hello new me, and so on.

I would agree that because of the songs performed on this tour lip syncing was probably the way to go. I actually really dislike it when tracks that are heavily processed on the album version are sung live in concert.

Unfortunately Marionette -was- lip synced. Trust me, I was very obsessed with finding out back then and it turns out the audio's exactly the same in every recording of Marionette. On the DVD they just polished it even more and made the audience noise less..

Every part in tour 07 other than the encore was lip-synced. So it's definitely not a uncommon thing. I just was kinda happier with the auto tune thing she was trying out just wish they'd make it a little more subtle.

People should keep in mind the DVD recordings can't be taken in account while talking about lip-synching... There's a chance the voice you get in the DVD isn't even from the same date you are watching... It may be even a studio recording.

AT07 != full lip syncing. The DVD just got edited heavily. Again, I did my research on that period (2007-2009).

That symbol is supposed to mean =/=. Meaning that AT07 was not fully lipsynced. The audio was put through more editing than we ever normally get for some reason. Probably the same reason why we won't be getting it in Blu-ray format.

Eh those lips were pushed out way to much through out all but the end as far as I could see.

We got a bit more of an encore today (this wasn't done at the earlier osaka shows right?) She sang.....Boys & Girls, there was ball throwing, and then Feel The Love.

Downloading bootlegs, audio rips, illegal cams, dvd audio, TV versions and comparing them next to each other in an audio program. Plus attending the actual concerts, but I tend to get so excited I wouldn't even realize she's lip syncing if she stopped moving her mouth haha. I was totally obsessed about finding out in that period. :P I think it's because I became a fan in those years and I didn't want to believe my idol was lip syncing. Well of course she was and it's fine lol.

Off-topic but the vocals of GREEN on one of the times I went to AT09 was the most terrrible thing I've ever heard. I wish she lip synced THAT haha. The audio mixing was terrible too. Mess. And I was near the front stage so I just looked at her back for 4 minutes.

Are you stupid? "!=" means "isn't the same as". The DVD is heavily edited, which means you don't hear the vocals that were actually performed. Now I'm not saying the entire concert was live, but it wasn't fully lip synced either.

What programming language is "=/=" from? s_s And yeah it's really annoying... Amazing concert but those edited vocals and documentary cut inbetween the songs, ugh.

I can't believe you guys thought AT2007 was real singing. Her ear went totally deaf later that year, but she was able to perfectly hit all the notes on the songs? No way lol Just listen to evolution, every note is perfect

She's pitch-perfect on every DVD because of pitch-correction (voice editing). That doesn't mean that she hit all the notes during actual show.
