Anyone else at least a little surprised that Colours has not outsold LOVE again's first week of sales? I guess La didn't outsell PQ's first week either, but still. When was it last this much of a drop?

Yep, I agree! Especially cos Colours was a much better album imo.

Generasia is missing one week. Kuu`s Bon Voyage officially sold 59,449 copies and was #38 on Oricon`s half year ranking.

Though the whole music industry needs to keep up with the times and include digital sales. But it is said in general that the music industry is outdated and has failed to see where it needs to be. People will always buy physical CD's but a huge part just like the convenience of downloading their music now a days.
But with the decline of overall sales over the market. Ayu is still doing good

Even with digital sales, ayu isn't selling a lot with her new music (there are some exceptions of course).

Chaku-uta/Recochoku or w/e way you spell that site, are on a decline, but Itunes japan has gained more interest. Which is why RIAJ decided to do a combo chart and not count iTunes separately (under PC category) also the reason why Sony and other record companies in japan, caved and finally decided to distribute their music there in 2012/2013.

Oricon seriously need to get with the program, and start counting both digital and international sales.
