The CDL cover is FANTASTIC! I love the design and the "fierceness" behind her look. And, surprisingly, the logo blends in with the picture perfectly. It's good to know that *someone* on Avex's art team is excellent at design.

Le sigh... I'm not a fan of any of the MOON/blossom covers at all. They're not horrible, but I can't overlook all the obvious things wrong with the shoot itself: the oversized wig, the orange glow gradient... I'm not saying it's Ayu's fault, but that the photography team did a lousy job. If they had used the fitted wig from "Lady Dynamite" and photographer Toru Kumazawa (since the single does have that "nostalgic" feel to it), then the covers would've probably turned out a lot better. Just think about it:

Something different for me would be along the lines of a Pink Floyd cover, for instance. It would be so AMAZING if ayu does that. But with all due respect, i think we all already know ayu. :roflmao She tends to exaggerate a lot when it comes to describe the material she releases. (and it's understandable somehow) so expect nothing, in my humble opinion, it's the best choice. If she surprises us, that's awesome :luv2 if not, she won't disappoint us. :)

My favourite cover is Blossom/Moon. she looks really sweet and cute. :love i didn't like CDL cover because of the photoshop :rolleyes (please don't kill me :tired)

Ayu's staff / avex really need to get their crap together. even after the covers leaked they took forever to even put them up on the site, I mean really...people are paying to get this info earlier and they can't even do that right?

She very specifically said that there were two "types" of images shot for these covers. (Moonlit night-ish thing + flowers blooming) She wasn't vague or exaggerating or anything. I wonder if things just ended up changing and that's why it took soooo long for the covers to come out? Haha. It'd be interesting if the poster's image wasn't from any of the covers.

She changes her hair so often that it's difficult to tell what's real and what's not anymore. :ytongue

I think that was 2007-2008 where her hair was weave central and her hair was basically almost always a weave. Nowadays it seems like she's going for the natural look when it comes to hair.

I actually love the way her hair is styled on the covers. It gives her a classic look~ I remember how horrible her hair was for last years summer single. NEVER AGAIN! :no

yeah, but the fact that they aren't being reliable as of late and even though they knew of the leak but did nothing to post 2 images... lol. Please don't tell me you're defending them, a lot of people who pay for TA (myself included) have a right to be at least somewhat upset about it.

Of course you have the right to be upset about this. I'm not saying you shouldn't. But you make it sound as if you'd quit TA just because of this incident when you still get so much more than regular fans is all I'm saying. If this was a constant problem then I could understand outrage but for an isolated incident (as far as I know) doesn't warrant quitting TA.

There has been mistakes like this in the past (TA crashing, them not doing what they said they were going to do at a certain time IIRC) but I wasn't a TA member back then so it didn't affect me. also, I never even said I was going to leave TA but I see the point you were trying to make. I just said that if I'm going to pay for something that they don't deliver, it's not worth that payment. Since I'm a newer TA member this isn't a good way to start but I'm not going to cancel my membership over it. :P

I've seen a lot of japanese people on twitter who are upset over it and have been talking to Ayu about it and she's been replying to them and apologizing, but it's not even her fault.

Ah, sorry! You gave me the impression you were going to quit and if that were the case don't quit, I'll take your membership! :laugh

It sucks that they're having so many problems but hopefully they'll get it together.

Omg I just figured out what's making the CDL cover look so off to me!! It's her eyebrow!! I covered her eyebrow with my finger and her expression doesn't look so...strange~ it's the position of her eyebrow~

Ayu looks strange but HOT in the CL cover. Get's a thumbs up from me :D
Though a nice, simple border would've made the CL cover look nicer, IMO.

If you look at this cover in detail, you can see the camera and background of the studio reflection from ayu's eyes.

^^ In most close up pics you can see that. It's kinda hard to edit that out without the photo looking weird lol

This is the risk of using close-up shoot. Sometimes it makes the cover sketchy even the covers have photoshopped.

I am curious if ayu notices that when she chooses the pictures for her CD covers.
