I really think that somehow she's just trying way too hard to impress and do things creatively, and they come up as tacky nowadays.

Funny how she says she studied fame and the consequences of it, or all that crap she said about it, and I think that's cool, I liked how she put being a pop star across, but she condemned herself from the very start of her stardom.

She did everything so quickly, and her peak was awesome, and it left or it is leaving a strong trail still, but her career to me seems short-lived.

She just bit off too much and I don't think she's gonna be able to chew it all lol


When she was here in Australia in July, she did a one-night concert and, she seemed stressed, her vocals were strained and she had trouble hitting the right notes sometimes. Totally different to when she came here the first 2 times.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't really think Gaga is that creative. I try not to pay attention to her image and music is basically derived forms of pop music from 80's til now. Not that it's bad, I enjoy her music, but I'm pretty unimpressed with her on a creative stand-point. I didn't always feel this way but whatever :shrug as long as the music is good, I'm good.

I like her because her songs are catchy and I think deep down she's a really sweet person. :P

I never thought of her as any more creative than anyone else, I think she's just sincerely weird.

I don't like those covers for "YOU & I" at all. I know Gaga has done photoshoots dressed as a man before, but honestly she just looks gross on those covers...and I don't like that fact that she's smoking on the coves as well. However, I feel that with time they MIGHT start to grow on my a little bit..but we'll see...

I look forward to seeing the video for "YOU & I" but I agree with others who have said that there are much better songs on "Born This Way" that could have been a single.. Oh well, hopefully she'll pick a better song for the next single.

Gaga looks great in those pictures! I have always loved her look from "The Fame" era. I've been a Gaga fan since a little while after her debut, and since these days she is constantly changing her image, I've always consider her look during "The Fame" era to be the "original" Gaga. lol. I think she looks absolutely stunning in a simple dress with her hair down like that. I still love when she wears all the unique outfits, but I still love to see her toned down as well. :heart

it's funny that people think that Yoü and I is boring...it's just because it's her first ballad single. it's an amazing song. you can really tell that she loves singing it and she really has emotion behind it. It's obvious that this album is her most personal to date. I mean look at the subject matter of most of the songs. they're all about something that means a lot to her.

:shakehead How is it considered boring "just because it's her first ballad single"? Everyone formed their opinion on the recorded version of the song when the album came out. They didn't sit around loving the song and then switch to "oh it's so boring" the day she announced it was her next single.

And for the record, I personally think it's a good song, but not necessarily a good single. But her single picks for this album have been very... strange.

I watched the interview that the Edge of Glory video is made to show her life in NY when she was young, dancing at the balcony and all. She had a different idea at first but she changed.

Tbh, I really like the video. It turned the song around for me, the second time. I loved it when she only performed it live, then hated it when I heard the album version, but the video is so cool it's made me like the album version now. haha

Between Bad Romance and Edge of Glory, I haven't really enjoyed many of her vids. The colors and simplicity of Edge of Glory were a great change and I really liked it.

Plus, I don't like her as a guy haha. I don't see where people are seeing "hot"--I still see Adam Sandler...
