I personally want they don't show previews so I won't be tempted to hear to them and then wait for the full album with all it's amazingness! :yes

Btw, all versions of Japonesque are still charting so well on preorders, it's #2, #4, #14 & #17 on weekly cd-japan. (and for the first 3 weeks it was #1 and #2) Also is #12 & #13 on HMV and Yesasia respectively. :D c'mon kuu! even with no cms, no performances, no promotional videos/songs.. the album can do very well! (at least with foreign fans xD)

That sadly doesn't say much, cause on CDJapan Visual Kei bands are mostly selling the best (in their chart for 2011 Versailles, Gazette and Dir en Grey are dominating the Top 10) and those aren't big in Japan. On YesAsia and HMV it's chinese and korean singers.

Much more accurate are japanese preorder sites, amazon.jp, mu-mo etc.

Japonesque has been around the 21-40 area since the pre-order went up. Not amazing but it's not bad either. I've noticed Kuu doesn't really do that great on Amazon even with single like 4 Times so it's not a big deal.

As for previews I'm kinda starting to debate with myself if I should just wait till I get my CDs and listen to the album for the first time while watching the PV DVD. I'll probably give in once they come out though.

avex usually uploads a lot at the same time, everyone I like releasing on the 25th have released their pvs and album previews so I am sure we will get something soon, I wish they did a trailer like 4times though

it's obvious that the marriage/baby would hurt sales & promo for this album but i didn't think avex would like, legit give up on it :confused two weeks is still a decent amount of time to announce stuff so you never know, but still..

Universe is amazing (especially if you have a Blu-Ray player and an HD-amp).
The tour sounds/looks amazing and is totally worth it, as I think it's a 3 hour concert with some great performances by Kumi!

from the PV caps No Man's Land looks like it's going to be amazing, hopefully a rocky track :) I also think this may well be her best album, I have a good feeling about it!

[Japonesque] Preview First Impressions: I don't want to come across as a harsh critic but the only songs that remotely interested me were 'ESCALATE' and 'Lay Down'. The rest either sounded like cliche Western songs or songs that Kuu has already done before in some form or fashion. However, I will wait until I hear the full versions of each song to make a proper judgement. :yes

Everyday was the most boring. Sounds just like anytime which is a snoozefest the entire duration of the song. Love No Man's Land, Love Technique. Slow sounds surprisingly nice! So Nice sounds very nostalgic for Kumi - I love it. Also Lay Down sounds promising. ESCALATE the biggest disappointment.

I'm in love with ESCALATE preview, it's gonna be a bomb! I really like others previews except maybe Brave and Everyday! Can't wait for the full album now!

i totally expected No Man's Land to be a ballad. what an awesome surprise!! really like all of the previews, actually. weeee!!! there are 0 offensive songs.

So nice, Slow, Boom Boom Boys, Lay down and No man's land sounds like they are going to be amazing!!
It's hard to determine some songs, like "ESCALATE", it can be a boom or even a big mess.
Love technique sounds interesting tbh. And everyday and brave are very very generic!

Anyway, it's the best "first felling" I've ever get from a kuu album judging the previews! (and the singles are awesome... maybe best kuu album on years? ;))

Now I don't want to leak anything else, just want to see all PV's in a row :P

Got a great feeling about the album :)

I'm a little disappointed by these previews, considering how much I have loved the singles she has released this year...

Only No man' land caught my attention (sounds GREAT), but the rest sound too "deja vu" for Kumi imo... Still waiting forthe full tracks to have a definitive opinion though !

A little review about all the previews (in my opinion):

So Nice - I was waiting for a song like that since Kingdom, and it's even better than I expected... Just eargasmic.
Boom Boom Boys - I find this one really edgy, it's not a normal Kuu song, it's really strong.
Slow - So beautiful ;-; And this is not my kind of ballad. +A
Brave - Beautiful ballad and I'm glad that is not in the stay with me single, it would be too slow they both together.
Everyday - It's like I Don't Love You, really cute and catchy.
ESCALATE - Words can't describe how much I love this preview. lol
No Man's Land - Totally different from what I expected, I thought the song was gonna be like Caw We Go Back but it's not that strong (it still a strong song).
Lay Down - I'm already loving it, Kuu. ♥
Love Technique - I don't know if it's just me but this song reminds me Perfume without the auto tune.

I couldn't make myself stay away from the previews after all, lol. :D I loved almost every single one. The ones that really stood out for me were So Nice, No Man's Land, Everyday, Lay Down, Love Technique and ESCALATE. I need to hear the full versions for Boom Boom Boys, Slow and Brave to say what I really think of them. :)

Ahhh yay finally previews! I've been waiting so long! :heart

I adore all the previews, I got pleasant nostalgia and pleasant surprises from them!

I was very pleasantly surprised by 'So nice' and 'No Man's Land', and 'BBB', I can tell they'll be going on repeat for a long time. XD I was pleasantly surprised by 'Slow'! I was expecting it be, well, slower! Hahaha. And Brave is a very nostalgic, definitely has a sound of Kuu's older ballads. 'Everyday' also has a really nostalgic feel to it, reminds me of Kuu's older cute pop songs, I love the r 'n' b beat! ESCALATE is going to to be epic. No Man's Land....EPIC. That is all I can say, It's just so....EPPIIICCC oh god I love it. ;-;
Lay Down....(8) You're gonna love it (8) Kuu must either be psychic or just that damn good because hell yes I like it! :heart She knows it! Love Technique...The only one which I think is okay, I like it. :) I think I'll wait for the full and I'll probably warm more to it when I listen to it more in full!

I did notice though, especially for ESCALATE and So Nice, the preview trails off just before it sounds like the songs about to get epic. So even though I still love the preview of ESCALATE, I'm going to wait for the full song as it sounds like it's about to go into an epic chorus before it trails off, I'd like to hear the rest of it.

I think the previews have given us enough to be excited, and also has a lot more to show in the full versions.
I really like what I have heard so far, I can't wait to buy this album. :heart

We're still missing 'All For You' though, which I hope to hear soon! <3

ESCALATE : It's hasnt ESCALATED yet so Im excited :) I know its gonna be so amazig!
No Man's Land: I totally thought it might be something like Alive and quiet but WOW this is AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Lay Down: Hasnt reached the maximum level for sure hehe..im interested
Love Technique: I do hear some Hey Baby sounds but i still need more to judge. It's not too bad. albeit cutesy-ish
