I honestly don't think she's "banned", more that she "can't be bothered".

If she wanted a quick promo of singing, Avex would buy their way back onto MSta if there was an issue. Ayu would do a guerilla concert or something. Hopefully not as badly managed as the DejiDeji collection launch!! lol

Ayu has buttloads of cash, she could buy TV air time and record something herself to air on TV during ad breaks. I think it's more that she has her mind on other things and since she's not selling too terribly, she doesn't see a need to get out there and do more active promo. Her fans are still paying for albums and stuff she appears on and could carry her for another album or two until they start to get bored.

Maybe she's not "blacklisted". Like I said, we can't really know. It's just weird because before that "drama" she always performed @ MS promoting her newest releases (and nowadays she has no TV performances at all).

Let's get this straight...

She just had one release since her last performance on MS for FIVE. There was Party Queen which had no promo but that's been it since then.

People are acting like there have been SEVERAL new releases for her to promote since then but there's really only been one release to promote where she's completely avoided the TV since her last performance. She also completely skipped out on promoting L in favor of performing crossroad back then, iirc.

I think it's because her releases too close to tour dates

Who knows. As of right now she knows she can still sell well with little to no promotion... so really, whats the point?

It would be nice to have more TV lives but I won't be butthurt if there aren't any. Maybe her voice can't handle them as well nowadays. Idk, she has her reasons. I just wouldn't want her to strain her voice more.

what does it mean?

There's a 48 hour long broadcast on Niconico Douga with lots of little happenings during it. I think they're planning some mini polls and a lot of CMs and PVs. Seems like they're showing the full choruses for 102 PVs?

If I'm not mistaken, I think there'll be some polling about ayu's 250+ songs, which we can determine the song is fit into summer/winter/autumn/spring season. And based on poll, it'll be make into special chaku-uta that'll be delivered by mu-mo or dwango. The songs will me mixed to "あゆ○○ソング スペシャルメドレー" (○○ = the seasons).

Well, I guess fans already demanded for A WINTER BEST / A AUTUMN BEST / A SPRING BEST, so they make this :p

I think the polling will be live as well since they have a set of buttons and a graphic about what to do when it shows up?

There is a new Japanese anti-downloading law in place from October 1st. It's a stict law, where simply downloading could result in a jail sentence. People are cautious at the moment, and ici_jp has already stopped his uploading activities. Just saying that we might not be able to watch this when it airs.

I thought this nlaw is only for downloading the music/liev dvd/etc stuff?
Is it also for TV programms? I mean that is silly, it´s free watchable on TV and most things like Music Station and such stuff is never available for buying on DVD and so >< Or is this festival broadcasted on a Pay TV Channel?
