The worst part of Sunrise/Sunset covers were how it looked like it was made in a studio.

I'd kill for another Sunrise/Sunset type single. Amazing two songs and perfect for summer.

I like the idea that was behind S/S covers. Ayu herself looked very pretty, the background was pretty, it was just the execution that lacked for me. Her poses just looked so bland. But, there are covers of hers that I find worse.

i think this too, but seriously ive got a feeling that Ayu hadnt any intention to release a 'real' single anymore,dont knos why,she had slow down her pace in her activities these past years,come one Ayu prove it that im wrong

Summer Single in 2013 might be in Hawaii, 2014 in Bali, 2015 in Hawaii, 2016 in same place for sunrise.

i hope someday, Ayu will discover the new location to shoot cover / music video.

second...the matter was the poses and the directing, her look wa sok even though her outfit could have been something more catching.

The worst thing about the S/S covers was the background. OMGF like someone actually ripped the grass bush from another low resolution picture and slammed it on another picture of a sea. Lastly, throw in a severly edited and weirdly posed ayumi hamasaki. On top of that they had to put in the horrible font for the title....

these discussions make me listen to the two songs again, i don't even recall how they sound... lol

I love Sunrise (the song). I thought it was produced extremely well and it was a nice change of pace but reminiscent of independent.

The problem I see with Leslies works in general is that he cannot handle the editing done to his photographs. The goal of photoshop in my opinion should always be to maintain the illusion of almost flawless, natural beauty.

But his photoshoots always look fake as hell from the very first view.
