NEW AYU SONG. I LOVE IT. It doesn't sound as strong as progress was (GOD THAT SONG WAS EPIC) but I'm not gonna judge since I haven't heard the full song.

At first I was a bit skeptical - "Song 4 u"? Really? But what I've heard is good so far, and the title isn't that bad. It could be worse. And it reminds me of ayu's old sounds.... LOVEppears to I am... era, maybe? And her voice doesn't sound bad at all.

Do we know who is the composer and arranger for the song? I'm thinking Yuta Nakano, like progress. But it could be TK, even Timmy, for all I know :P

And for the record, from what I heard: THIS SONG IS TOO EPIC TO JUST BE A DIGITAL SINGLE. 51st single please!!!!

To be honest I wasn't expecting anything good.
She's been so disappointing lately and progress was everything but interesting.

I'm glad this new song sounds good so far! Even if it's a typical game opening, it works quite well and doesn't really sound like something she's done before. The structure is interesting too, I like its progression. It's a bit old school in a good way!
Looking forward to hearing the whole thing.

Not totally, vinyls are still a popular medium in some genre, especially metal and electronic genres. But yes, physical CDs are getting outdated - if that's a good thing is another question.

I have to say I'm disappointed with "Song 4 u". People mentioning it was rocky with strings excited me, but the only part of the song I like is the "yiye" part. The other parts just seem weak, and I agree with isthisLOL? about the doublevocalling. Horrible in "crossroad", horrible in "Song 4 u". But maybe the full original mix of the song will be better.

I'll agree with this only because Party Queen has been on my iPod since it came out, and most of the songs have play counts of "1" on them. Hahahaha. I don't know what it is, I mean, I liked the songs, I just... I don't know, maybe the divorce stigma of the entire album just bothers me. Lmao.

The chorus is quite weak (until the YEYEYE part which is amazing), but I have a feeling this is the first chorus in the song, and the second chorus will stay upbeat... do you know what I mean? Like in this short version, the beat drops away for the chorus but I think for the second and last chorus in the full song that won't be the case. Here's hoping, because it really destroys the flow of the song!
